I was unaware when I reserved that this hotel only has 27 rooms. First 2 buildings have no rooms so only rooms are 2 buildings away from only MW & ice. Requested first floor room unavailable. Was promised room near stairs but given room as far from stairs as possible.
Clerk agreed to change my room, brought keys to me & helped carry things up. Room ended up being double. One room had TV, dresser & desk table & chair, but curtains did not close all the way. Other room had kitchenette & hangers. Neither room had bedside tables shown in photos.
Fridge was large but freezer did not freeze well. Icepacks I put in at 6:00 PM were not refrozen by 6:00 AM. In contrast, they were well frozen in ＜ 7 hours in my home fridge. Stove had no pots or pans & only 1 place setting.
Shower had plenty of hot water but no soap dish, so soap had to be placed on toilet tank. TV was difficult to figure out, & clerk knew nothing about it. It appeared to be Roku rather than cable or satellite TV so live TV was not available that I could find. Channel up/down buttons did not seem to do what they were expected to do.
Hotel was difficult to find, & I had to loop around twice & call to get info before I finally found it. I recommend calling office to get info about nearby business landmarks.
Hotel is OK if you want low price & do not mind walking to office for MW & ice & stairs that are not well-lit at night. Office is also not open at night so be sure to get coffee when it is.

Lots of convenient places nearby, but surrounding the motel was iffy. Place was dirty, poorly remodeled. Entry door had gaps so large we could see outside. Was loud, lots of bugs and cobwebs. No hot water. Would not stay there again.

Look no further, budget friendly,
Clean, cool room EXTREMELY quiet. Staff Night personal and day Manger were very informative and friendly. I have booked again for next week. My go to Motel in Texarkana.

Clean rooms with bugs
My first room had a cricket on the bed so I requested a different room. The second room was ok. The bed was uncomfortable. I woke up around 4:00 am only to see some sort of insect clawing up the wall. AC was really cold and I had set it to a higher temperature.

The hotel was clean. Check in was quick and friendly. The room was very clean. Mattress and pillows were comfy. The one thin blanket on the bed was inadequate. The shower was tiny. I’m 5’6” and 135 lbs and the shower curtain brushed up against me. Having a 4 burner range with a hood, kitchen sink, and nice sized fridge was wonderful! Great price for a clean hotel. The 1 thin blanket is my biggest issue with this property.

Lots of bugs due to the lamps and the white bedding.

Stephanie was so understanding and accommodating with my situation. I needed a hotel room due to my rig a/c being out. The hotel is originally booked was a nightmare. I found this hotel and it was heaven sent. Small kitchenette area, walk in shower, smart tv, and quiet. If I ever need a hotel again out this away this is where im going!

The rooms were nice-updated- but very bare. My room needed a bedside table with a lamp/charging outlet. I dont even remeber a clock in the room. I had no place to set my phone or my water during the night. There was no shelf in the shower to put my stuff. Had to put my face scrubber on the ground as well as my shampoo & facewash. The tv worked for about 10 min when i first got there at about 9pm, if it worked at all, & the streaming service cut off at 11pm. None of the channels or streaming apps were available the 2 days i stayed. The woman that checked me in was super nice & polite.
