We truly enjoyed staying at this property. This is a 5 out of 5. From arrival to departure. The property is beautiful, the rooms are brand new and gorgeous. Right down the street from the main downtown district of St. Agustine. All is walking distance. The staff were super nice and helpful. We spoke to Noah at the front desk he was amazing. He helped us with Information about where to go and what not to miss. They also prepared a birthday card and chocolate cake for my husband birthday arrival - that was extra amazing and made him feel special !! Thank you Amalga team - you guys are doing amazing! We hope to return in the future.

Cute hotel nearby to the historic district. We stayed at the hotel more than expected due to rain. Tracy was our bartender and kept us entertained. She made our night.

We had a great dinner at Hugo’s with Tracy as our server. She was personable and very accommodating. My mother really enjoyed her lamb chops and French onion soup. I had a nice, tender meal of chicken scallopini. Myra from the front desk took the time to share with us the story of the history of the hotel and answered all the questions we had.

Awful experience. The parking is an additional $34. Construction congested the entrance. Appliances don't work. Untrained staff. Poor management. BAD food. The pool is a joke, 3ft deep and baking over the parking garage overlooking highway traffic.

This was a first the toilets were clogged and they gave me a plunger to unclog the toilet. They were clogged when we got there....also the 4th floor rooms are right under the main lobby, super noisy. As I was typing a note to the front desk the valet sent me a request for tip even though I hadn't requested my car yet. Property was beautiful, but not worth staying if you're a Marriott person. There are lots of other properties in the city.

This hotel is relatively new and you would think they have been for years because how they were service to their customers. We met the GM the second day we were here, at breakfast as he was engaging with all the guests. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice and new renovation. Right in river, but nothing much to see so do not worry about the view. Parking is $34 for Overnight with no self park options. Bar and checkin desk on top floor (5th). Fitness center in same floor. Rooms on floor 2,3,4. Only 2 elevators so if large group checking in it will be a slow process.

Great new hotel 0.8 miles from downtown St. Augustine. Sarah at Front Desk was wonderful and attended to our needs of getting the pool deck chairs built for our afternoon enjoyment. Briana at Front Desk and the Breakfast servers for both days were a delight and personable. Andres, the GM was around talking to guests and appreciative of small recommendations we made to make this an even more enjoyable place to stay. All around, a 5-star review. We will be back soon!

Stayed one night midweek at Hotel Amalga and wow, what a gem! Our room was stunning, with a gorgeous river and winery view. The lobby’s floor-to-ceiling windows were breathtaking, and the 5th-floor lobby bar was a vibe—shoutout to Lance, the bartender, for top-notch service! The rooftop patio stole the show with epic city views; spotting dolphins swimming was a highlight! Service was impeccable, making our short stay unforgettable. Can’t recommend this place enough for a chic, relaxing getaway in St. Augustine!
