Our daughter and her family recently moved to Berkley, so this is a perfect location for visiting. The hotel staff are friendly! Hotel is very clean and smells nice! Antoine from the breakfast area is awesome! He puts out a great spread and takes pride in his food!

Had I known it would be so nice.I would've come a day sooner as I only reserved the day before.for a scheduled medical procedure at the nearby hospital. The desk staff, anesthetics, amenities, etc. were great! Plenty of towels, breakfast was good and breakfast staff was very accommodating. Keila and Ciera were absolutely excellent! Both should be commended for their customer service. I did not give 5 stars because an indoor pool is indicated and my husband had planned to enjoy a swim while he waited. Very disappointing!

Hyatt house of royal oak is a brand new hotel. The check in area is very nice. The exercise room is new and the equipment is all brand new. The room was clean, the kitchen are was clean and all the items worked well. The shower was good, and had plenty of towels. There were 2 issues with my room. 1) there was a small leak from under the sink. 2) there was a noise coming from under the front door from wind. I put a towel there and the noise went away. These issues are from the fact that the hotel is brand new. Overall the location and facilities are great and the staff was very nice. I would stay again.
