Lovely place to stay. Super comfy bed, wonderful bathroom, and the place in general is beautifully designed and maintained. The owners were also very responsive and gave us great suggestions as to where to go (we stayed just in town and we dint want to drive for the Weekend.

We traveled from North Carolina for a September vacation in Oregon, and stayed at the Compass for the McMinnville part of our trip. I carefully researched hotel options, and we were so happy with our choice. This lovely home is just a couple of blocks from 4th street, in a quiet location. We loved the small boutique hotel, with just 4 guest rooms. It seemed much more personal (and also more affordable!) than the typical tourist hotel. The room and common areas were well appointed and comfortable. I highly recommend

A great place to stay in McMinnville! Easy walk to 3rd St. Convenient for the shops, restaurants and tasting rooms. We stayed in the Studio, which provided great privacy and a peaceful environment. The fire pit and horse shoes pitch were a great touch. Great attention to detail in regards to accommodations and amenities. The wine choices in the Commons Area were wonderful. We would definitely return!

My husband and I stayed at The Compass while we were exploring the winery’s nearby. This property is fantastic! The details the owners put into the suites and common areas are so thoughtful! It is a self check in/out process which was smooth with no issues. Our suite had a huge bathroom with soaker tub and king size bed. Coffee is available via a Nespresso machine with all the needed extras. We also loved they had a wine library available with recommendations from the owner. The walk to the Main Street is very close and it is also next door to the cutest bar, The Conservatory. If you are headed to McMinnville stay here!

My first time staying here for a work trip, where I visit every 2-3 months. The staff was amazing. Huge shout-out to Shannon! The hotel is impeccably clean; the bed was extremely comfortable. The outside area is amazing, and I had a great breakfast at Alea courtesy of The Compass. Will now be my go-to spot based on availability. Can't recommend enough

What a gem of a place. The renovations were amazing and they thought of everything in the room. If you are in the area, don’t even bother to look around. If they have a spot for you, grab it and enjoy.

Just overall fantastic experience. Lots of really great attention to detail with the amenities. Everything was great. Location was great. Communication was outstanding. Host was super nice. Can't recommend enough!

My husband and I visited the area for some wine tasting, and we actually decided to extend our trip so we could stay here one more night. Was so impressed with our stay at the Compass. Extremely comfortable and had everything that we needed during our stay. Has a great mix of comfort and privacy, while still having nice shared spaces and amenities. A great location in downtown to walk around to a wine tasting or meal. Our room was cozy and spacious, very clean. We will definitely be staying again our next time in the area.
