The first impression was not good at all. We arrived after dark; although the reception is clearly marked, the streets are very narrow. It’s difficult for two cars to pass each other, and at the same time you have to avoid people carrying skis because there are no sidewalks. There is no designated parking for check-in at the reception, which is a problem — just two or three cars are enough to block the entire access road. Check-in took 10 minutes even though we had completed it online in advance. We paid for outdoor parking, but it was very difficult to find a spot near our building. We recommend arriving between 4–6 pm, when the ski slope is not operating. Many skiers use the hotel’s parking lot. The entire hotel complex consists of five buildings. We stayed in Building No. 3, which unfortunately has nothing but guest rooms, although it does offer a nice view of the ski slope. Building No. 4 has a playroom, a pool, and a gym, but I wouldn’t want to stay on the ground floor, where everyone walks past your door. Building No. 5 has a conference hall where breakfast and dinner are served, while the main restaurant is in Building No. 1. Breakfast is from 8–11 am and dinner from 4–7 pm. If you want to have lunch, you’re out of luck — the main restaurant doesn’t open until 2 pm. The pool and playroom are open almost all day. Unfortunately, the playroom is very small and does not match the size of the hotel at all. Moreover, to reach the playroom for children under six, you have to walk past the game room, which is full of arcade machines. The aquapark consists of a swimming pool, which is quite cold, a small children’s pool with warm water, two hot tubs, and a waterslide for children aged eight and over. The changing rooms are shared. You have to walk outside between the buildings. There are enough coat racks, but very few shoe racks, so shoes are scattered everywhere and the floors are wet. The dining hall was OK — plenty of tables, good food, with queues mainly for drinks. For me, a big downside was the huge screen showing children’s programs. Not everyone appreciates that during a meal. We paid for a room with a sauna, which was modern and clean. Unfortunately, it was quite small for a family of four. The sauna seats a maximum of two people, and there is absolutely no shoe rack and very little storage space for clothing, which is surprising for a hotel by a ski slope. There is no proper option for drying clothes, only a radiator in the bathroom. Overall, we rate this hotel as average. If you plan to spend the whole day on the slopes, it’s sufficient. However, be aware that evening skiing is from 6–9 pm and dinner is from 4–7 pm, which overlap. If you’re planning activities for children such as the playroom or pool, you’ll need to go at times when others are skiing.
