We stayed at this hotel for two nights and were extremely positively surprised. The property is new, modern, and beautifully designed, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very tastefully furnished. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a good size, and I especially appreciated the makeup mirror – such a small detail, but so nice to have. The water pressure in the shower was excellent as well. The location is ideal, particularly if you’re visiting the World Equestrian Center or exploring the nearby state parks. We would absolutely choose to stay here again without hesitation. The only aspect that felt a bit unusual for us as Europeans was the breakfast. It was included in our room rate, and we tried it on the first morning, but decided to have breakfast elsewhere on the second day. Everything is individually wrapped in plastic – every plastic fork and spoon – and you eat from paper plates and drink from paper cups. The selection itself is fine and very American in style, especially when it comes to the hot options. For bagels, toast, and toasties, there are individual portions of jam, peanut butter, and cream cheese. There was also fruit and a variety of coffee options available. Overall, it was perfectly okay – but it does create quite a lot of waste, whether you want it to or not.
