My wife and I stayed at Moxy Cincinnati Downtown and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable, leaving me with back pain after our stay. The worst part, however, occurred during checkout on November 16, 2025. While the valet was retrieving my vehicle, I was informed that it had been struck. When the car was brought around, I saw that the driver’s side window had been busted out. The manager came outside, took my contact information, and assured me I would be contacted. No one followed up. I had to call the hotel myself, which eventually led me to reach out to Towne Park, the valet company. Neither Towne Park nor Moxy has taken responsibility or offered to fix the damage. This lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable. Guests should feel confident that their property is safe and that management will stand behind their promises. Sadly, that was not the case here.

I rarely leave reviews, but our experience at the Moxy Hotel in Cincinnati was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. First, our room was never cleaned. After being out all day, we came back at 9:30 PM to find it exactly as we left it—dirty towels, unmade bed, trash still there. We reported it, and the only solution was to move us to a different room that late at night. Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. The next day, after specifically complaining to the manager and expecting better service, the second room was also never cleaned. No follow-up, no apology, nothing. It felt like no one was actually taking the issue seriously, not even the General Manager, who was aware but didn’t do anything about it. To make things worse, the staff at the front desk (who are also bartenders) were completely unprofessional. When I asked to speak to a manager, they questioned why I wanted to and even asked if they were “in trouble.” Instead of trying to help resolve the issue, they were defensive and confrontational, raising their voices and showing no concern for guest service. This stay was unacceptable from start to finish, no basic hospitality, no accountability, and no professionalism. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My mom and I came here for my birthday and to see a show. The hotel is amazing. Modern, clean, fresh. BUT best part is the staff. Front desk/bar tenders are kind, accommodating and fun. If you go to Cincinatti. Stay here!!!

The hotel is very clean and has a nice vibe to it. The check-in process was awkward as you check in at the bar, but otherwise smooth. Parking is nice as there is an inexpensive garage across the street. Overall the room was very nice. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room with two bunk beds. The bunk beds were nearly impossible to get into because once you got to the top of the ladder that was straight up and down, there was nothing to hold on it. Then there was the shower which was wonderful, except there was a glass brick wall separating the shower with the bedroom area and you could see more than one would probably have liked. And with the sliding barn door for a bathroom door, you could hear everything as well. It made for an awkward time with my MIL. We managed but these design flaws may prevent us from coming back.
