A true hidden gem – we would come back anytime! We stayed at Baobab Bungalows in Zanzibar in late September / early October and absolutely loved it. This place is a real gem for anyone looking for relaxation, warmth and an amazing location. A very special thank you goes to Barbara – she is the perfect host. From the very first moment, you feel truly welcome. She takes care of every single wish with great dedication, gives wonderful tips and makes sure everything is just right. You can really feel her passion for hospitality. The property itself is beautiful, very well maintained, clean and wonderfully peaceful – perfect for switching off and relaxing. The location is excellent: right on a stunning beach, much calmer and less crowded than places like Paje, which is exactly what we were looking for. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, lovingly prepared and the perfect start to the day. Overall, Baobab Bungalows has a very relaxed and special atmosphere that makes your stay truly memorable. For us, this is a clear top recommendation. Anyone wanting to experience Zanzibar in an authentic, calm and welcoming way will feel right at home here. We would definitely return!
