This B&B was wonderful. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. Bed was comfortable but the best was definitely the bathroom. The bathroom had a great shower and a heated floor. The breakfast was delicious with large portions. The B&B owners were very friendly and helpful in describing the home and the area. Next time we are in Milford, we will staying there again.

Breakfast was great. Wonderful restoration of historic property. The rooms are very nicely furnished. Would, however, choose a room not directly at the front of home on first floor as the traffic noice is somewhat of a distraction when trying to sleep. Would not recommend “Adeline” room for this reason. All other rooms should be fine in terms of for mentioned traffic noice. But would highly recommend this wonderful stay.

酒店回复: David:Thank you for your comments. We are serious about making our guests as comfortable as possible. You stayed in Adelaide, a room that was designed to be very accessible on the first floor. It is about 25 feet from the traffic lane and we are aware that motorcycles and trucks do tend to make a bit of noise when they pass by. That said, the peak volume of passing vehicles is more apparent because the room is normally very quiet. You are not the first person to make this comment. Most people do not have an issue with the occasional sounds, but those that do have found that a white noise generator helps mask the unavoidable road sounds. You are correct that sound levels in the other rooms, particularly the suite, are less.Look forward to seeing you and Laurie on your next trip.

For our anniversary, we decided to spend a couple of nights in the Poconos and chose Milford's John H. Wallace House. It was an incredible experience! The hosts John and Linda have truly thought of every detail to make this bed and breakfast cozy, elegant, and welcoming. The house is spotless and modern while preserving charming historical features like original fireplaces and plank floors. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and unforgettable. They provided recommendations for outdoor activities, historical sites, and local restaurants. The house is walking distance to shops and restaurants and an easy drive to many trails and parks. John prepared several breakfast options each morning, and they were absolutely perfect. On the first morning, we ate on the patio, but when it was unseasonably chilly the next morning, Linda beautifully set the dining room table for us! John and Linda were incredibly warm and made us feel like friends instead of just guests at their inn. We definitely plan to come back and will happily recommend the John H. Wallace House to our friends and family! Donna and Scott

What a special place - it is very apparent that it is in loving hands. John is incredibly invested in the history and the details - the rooms are well appointed and beautifully renovated and the breakfast was a lovely start to the day with homemade scones that were amaazing!

My husband and I had a lovely weekend stay at the John H. Wallace House. John and Linda created a beautiful Bed and Breakfast location in Milford! It is conveniently located and close to restaurants, shopping, and a fun brewery. John served wonderful multi-course breakfasts on their quiet porch each morning. They also gave us many ideas for exploring the area. We highly recommend planning to stay here during your trip to Milford. We look forward to staying here again!

The John H Wallace House is the oldest historic house in Milford. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a tour of the whole beautiful house!! The house has been newly renovated!! The bathroom and shower were gorgeous! The breakfast was outstanding and even had homemade scones, clotted cream and lemon curd served on beautiful china!! It was truly a home away from home!
