Booked and paid in full for our stay months in advance, only for Charles Hope to contact us 2 weeks before check-in to say there was an issue and the apartment was not available. They offered to “upgrade” us to an apartment 2.5 miles away or refund us. The replacement was not a convenient location for our needs, so we opted for the refund and booked elsewhere assuming the refund would be processed immediately. It is now nearly 3 months later, and we have only just received the refund after dozens of unanswered emails and phone calls to chase this up. I think they just thought we would forget about it. I would never use this company again.
