Me and my husband stayed at MUSA for a week and had an absolutely incredible time. It was incredibly relaxing and welcoming throughout - the property is gorgeous and luxurious and the amenities are top notch. It's a really special piece of property with a hard to beat location right on the beach. We had initially booked a Deluxe room, but got upgraded after two nights since they had a room available - very kind. When the AC in that room had an issue a day later they upgraded us once again for the hassle, and we stayed in a gorgeous room with a private dipping pool for the remainder of the stay. All the rooms were exceptionally clean with crisp, premium bedding. The staff was lovely and friendly, and helped us arrange an excursion into town for one of the days. For us, food is very important. We were glad to discover the menu at the restaurant to be delicious and ranging in offerings, with excellent produce quality. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would come back here any day.

What an incredible resort! Wish that we could have stayed longer (maybe forever) The location was gorgeous and totally safe, secluded, and relaxing. There were miles of empty beach, delightful jungle paths, amazing food, kind staff, great service, and amazing music. The taste level here is very high. We are already planning our next trp

The hotel is undeniably beautiful, and the views are amazing. Restaurant staff were kind, and concierge Jose Luis was lovely—but the experience overall was extremely disappointing. We felt scammed at every turn: airport transfers that suddenly doubled in price without logic, mystery charges at breakfast, and a checkout process that involved inflated exchange rates and billing us for taxes we had already paid. The room we received was twocategories below what we booked, and we had to fight to get what we paid for. Annel at the front desk was shockingly rude and dismissive, and the manager, Andy, avoided accountability completely. Most concerning? We came here planning to invest in a property—something we’d no longer consider after such shady and unprofessional treatment. Future travelers: beware. Behind the luxury façade lies a business model built on hidden fees, upselling, and poor guest service.
