We grabbed the room last minute considering the price location (near the lake). The room turned out to be very small, though clean. Bed was too soft. No pool onsite, however you are advised to swim in the lake. What’s worse no restaurant, no pizzeria nearby. You may drive 15 minutes to a takeaway Mexican grill which was always a longline.

This place had EVERYTHING imaginable that you might need. The cabin was beautiful, and it seems that they thought of ANYTHING that you might need! We booked our next stay as soon as we got home from our trip! The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The view of the lake is spectacular! We can't wait to go back!

The location is beautiful - a long frontage on Lake George. The condition of the property is, literally, pristine. I am not sure how it manages to be so perfectly maintained and still look like a traditional lake resort. We could not have been more pleased.

Trout House resort was perfect for our trip. It was on a peaceful plot of property right across from the Northern part of Lake George. It some traditional outdoor activities available for kids of all ages (putting green, a couple basketball hoops, badminton/ volleyball and a beach area with a beautiful dock. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Owners were very friendly and had everything you could think of, including local trails, equipment to go out on the lake which was included with the cabin games, local eats, etc.
