We spent 4 nights at this hotel, arriving on a Saturday afternoon. It was much busier on the weekend than during the week, with families enjoying the indoor pool. We loved the sofabed, ottoman and large screen tv in our room for relaxation. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. Everything is super clean throughout the hotel. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. We were able to walk to almost all of the attractions we came to see from this location and used Lyft for the rest, which was very reasonable and prompt. It is a very good value and I would stay here again.

I chose not to stay here when I arrived late from my flight, only due to parking situation. They have very limited parking for guests. Other options is to park on street or do valet, and cars are parked a bit away. Street parking was a little scary for me, so I chose to cancel booking and stay at another Hilton property. Givinv 5 stars because Dominique and her staff were very helpful and provided great customer service. Even though I decided not to stay, they were very patient and understading of my parking dilemma.

Nice stay. Clean rooms, nice stays. Pros - Free breakfast. Items include whole grain waffles, real eggs, grits, and other continental items. The yogurt from the machine is made with cane sugar and real vanilla. So good! Free laundry, nice kitchenette with microwave and full refrigerator. Rooms were super clean. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Cons - The parking is limited. The lot is small and its assigned on a first come basis. There is parking along the side of the streets. Its visible if you have a room that faces Vance or Second Street. There is a $20 private lot across the street but it's not monitored. There is $35 valet parking and I was told that the hotel uses a secured garage of a bank. I found out the hotel intended to use the lot across the street and the hold up is the city. Hopefully that will be resolved soon. I was able to secure a free space the 2nd and 3rd day. The hotel is on the outskirts of downtown and within walking distance to the National Civil Rights museum. There are also unique shops within walking distance. I walked the neighborhood and saw others walking as well. Didn't feel unsafe but you always have to stay aware of your surroundings.
