when we went to check in lady told us there is no rooms when i showed her two confirmations still woundnt let us checkin and told us find another hotel in town. i tried call back later yo speek to manger and her keep hanging up now im out two down payments totaling over 100 dollars. ask trip advisor to help and she wont answer phone. what a way to run a business! this made us later for traim ride in cooperstown train left out us.

The room was not cleaned. There was toothpaste spit in the sink and urine around the outside of the toilet. When I went to say something at the front desk no one answered. I had to buy my own cleaning supplies and left first thing in the morning even though I was charged for the whole week. I didnt expect much for the price. But this was the worst I have ever seen.

Clean, odor-free. Comfortable, firm bed. Very little traffic noise. Room was small but adequate. Good value. Friendly reception.
There are two diners in Richfield Springs, about 8 miles east; a surfeit restaurants in Cooperstown.

They gave my room away 2 hours before check in. I was stranded with nowhere to go and they did not care in the slightest. They were extremely rude about it and they have not given me my money back.

AC worked, and the bed was relatively comfortable with clean sheets. Other than that, the room was very small, the microwave was rusty inside and was completely missing the plate. The shower was tiny and I kept hitting my elbows on the walls. If wifi is advertised, then that is false.
It's cheap and on a main road, about 30min from Cooperstown where the prices go way up. I grew up in the area so I knew what I was getting into, but the lack of wifi and condition of the microwave threw me off.
There was also no trash can in the bathroom and the one in the room had no bag and looked dirty inside.

酒店回复: We will look into the room, we cannot do anything about the size of rooms, however if a microwave is missing a plate or a garbage bin needs another bag, please ask us. We will check the microwave issue, we just replaced all of them just months ago.

My experience was mixed. To be fair, I expected (and received) a no frills budget experience given the premium prices in the surrounding area.
But check-in was seriously flawed, there was no sense that I had a reservation and in busier times I don’t doubt my room would have been resold.
Room #1 reeked of smoke - smoke or damp smells are not uncommon for old motels but this was on the strong side. No garbage can in the room or in the bathroom, which is ridiculous for anyone but especially for feminine hygiene.
If I ever return I would definitely call ahead multiple times to validate my room is still available.

They gave my room away to someone else even though i booked it weeks before and already paid for it. I had nowhere to stay and they didnt care. He was extremely rude wgen i tried to explainthat I needed this room. He told me they would refund me but i haven't gotten my money back.
