Great evening with friends at the Legh Arms Prestbury. Special thanks to Karina for the wonderful food and for taking time to come and chat to us to ensure everything was fine . All staff and manager fabulous team.

My wife and I made an on the spur decision to drop in for a spot of lunch. The restaurant is extremely welcoming and comfortable. The menu offers a wide choice of dishes and prices. Everything was freshly cooked and well presented. We were served by the charming and attentive Hattie and Ellie.

Absolutely spot on felt very welcome here door was opened for us by the manager Alfie he was so friendly with a professional approach. Made us feel very comfortable definitely a people person and great with are kiddies. We had a great meal best we've had for a long time through out the meal we was made to feel looked after. When we finished are meal we had a look around spole to the General manager Karina who was very knowledgeable about the location. She was lovely and came across very polite we will definitely be returning. Also we would recommend this hotel with lovely surroundings to anybody wishing to visit here.

We decided for my Lady’s birthday, we’d take a trip to a not so far away place in a quaint village. Because of our appalling wet weather, we concluded that we’d simply like to park up, relax, have a few drinks and eat in the establishment itself. We’d been recommended the Legh Arms by a chap who knows his stuff! As we’re not really into chain hotels with charmless marble floors and walks, the boutique style place was what we had in mind. The Legh Arms didn’t disappoint. It had everything - comfort, charm, lovely quirky interior, beautiful furnishings, friendly staff, outstanding comfy rooms and fabulous food. The service was off the scale! We were treated like family. We only stayed one day and one night but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the sheep pleasure we encountered. We shall return soon. All the staff were amazing but a special mention of Renata, Tania and Hattie is well deserved. What a team! Huge thanks guys.

A comfortable two night stay in a smart comfortable old pub. Good food. Not cheap but it is Prestbury! Really surprised that breakfast coffee was stewed Cona and really annoyed to see at breakfast on the second day the staff made their coffee at the barista style machine while the patrons had to fetch their stewed coffee from the Cona … no points for this!

I was visiting my sister who lives nearby , we had dinner in the restaurant. The waitress was excellent she helped my elderly mum into her seat and was very knowledgable and attentive . The food was great and the service was second to none, a most pleasurable experience

In my humble opinion this was our best stay somewhere for along time, the bedroom we had called Adlington was spotless, very large room with all our needs met, it also had a lovely onsuite, the staff lead by Manager John were first class, we will definitely without daught return, and not hesitate to recommend to family,friends and work colleagues. That you John and team for your lovely hospitality

I cannot praise the Legh Arms.enough, friendly welcome great food and a really luxurious and large accessible room. All staff were friendly and welcoming a lot of thought has obviously gone into this place. I would highly recommend a visit if in the area

Been here a few times & loved it but this weekend, disappointed. We arrived a little early for check in & was told so, didn’t feel we could grab a drink at the bar & wait so went for a walk instead. When we came back to check in Nathan whom seemed to be in charge half heartedly checked us in, midway through talking to the staff about wage cut off day, & having to ask us again our name, took us up the stairs asked if we’d ever stayed before which we have, pointed in which direction we needed to go & said keys in the door, no information about breakfast service, hospitality lacking. First morning breakfast fine, apart from asking for spoons bowls & juice, second day terrible, no breakfast station put out as apparently not many staying so not worth doing which meant we had to ask for everything, coffee, tea a glass of juice, cereal, sugar, jams, fruit , felt like beggars. Third morning, breakfast station open again ?? The positive is the full English breakfast was fabulous! So disappointed , usually the Xmas decorations are still up as the rest of prestbury but not this year seems like everything is lacking at the moment in the Legh arms

What a lovely place for dinner. We came here on a weeknight after an afternoon out walking nearby. There were plenty of tables so no problem that we hadn’t booked. We were warmly welcomed and the service was professional from start to finish. It’s a lovely space, clean, appealingly styled. The standout for us was the food. The pies were fresh, tasty and came with mash and vegetables, not the dreaded chips and frozen vege. Everything was top quality and delicious. We parked at the foot of the street and walked up past the church. It’s a very pretty village and a pleasure to stroll through en route to dinner. We will be back.
