I’ve stayed at Kingston Carriage House a few times now for solo staycations, and it truly gets better every visit. My favorite rooms so far are the Captain's Loft, Parlour Suite, and Drawing Loft, each one has its own charm and thoughtful details. The complimentary breakfast basket is such a treat, with fresh coffee and pastries from a local bakery. I also love the curated record collection and record players in every room, plus the peaceful courtyard for relaxing. The location couldn’t be better! Just a short walk to the waterfront, shops, and incredible dining. It’s the perfect balance of history, comfort, and a beautiful neighborhood vibe. Kingston Carriage House feels like such a special hideaway, and I can’t wait for my next stay!

Loved staying at Kingston Carriage House. Have been multiple times. Each room is different. My pup loves the backyard. In the morning they leave coffee and pastries at your door. Loved walking to the waterfront with the boats. Nice restaurants, shops, and art galleries.

Could not be more disappointed with the lack of professionalism, organization, or guest service recovery of this property! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR BOOKING! We booked this property well in advance for an event we've been so excited and looking forward to. We have our email confirmation and we've paid our deposit. They called and said they signed a contract with a large group of rooms (or something similar like that) and so they FORCED US to NOT stay at this property. Completely unacceptable!

1. Upon checking in I noticed there were brown bugs on the pillow in both the living area and the bedroom. Please see attached picture of the back of my husband who slept on the pull out sofa. 2. All the bathroom dispensers were half emptied and not re-filled, even after I put the ones which would not pump anything out for your staff fell into deaf ears. 3. Lights in the master bathroom flicker and rooms are dingy and dark. The lighting in the stair case did not go on and all other lighting provide insufficient level of brightness throughout the promise. 4. The coffee machine is out of order but your team does not seem to have a plan to replace it. Emailed about the use of a microwave and zero response. 5. The shower floor is slippery and you may want to consider to install some sort of bar for safety. The planned trip was for my birthday and the carriage house did not provide any warmth or comfort instead with worn out carpet and tripping hazard rugs. The carriage house failed to provide the minimal amenities and it is disappointing for the family. Emailed the facility and no response or explanation. The Poet's Loft is a joke! (no TVs not that is important)

Renovated house with charm and lots of luxury details. Great location though we had a little trouble finding parking at night when the area is busy. We had a great stay and would stay here again next time we are in town!

The room was new and nice but for the price the room should have been bigger have a fireplace refrigerator and microwave. The room was in the coach house which we didn’t know. The breakfast was a thermos of coffee and croissant in a bag dropped off at door. The check in was thru website. It felt like we were in the middle of covid.

The lounge literally has nothing even the coffee machine broken
Breakfast is basically coffee and a dry croissant that you won’t eat
You can hear everything around you the walls are super thin
The area is nice to hang out in but nothing stands out

Comfortable Local Stay
Riverfront Kingston area close to main street. Easy self check-in and check-out. On a main road with less traffic noise after 9-10pm. Rustic charming room. Temperature control with AC in main room and heating fan in bathroom. Ample sized bathroom and main room with king sized bed and loveseat. Record player with additional records in drawer and plenty to do in the area. Short drive to stockade. Coffee and Pastries delivered to room in the morning. Easy communication with property.

I liked the record player and the room was clean and comfy. Coffee and pastries were waiting by the door in the morning. Checking in, the battery was dead in the room lock. Had to wait 30 mins for service to arrive. The shower floor was dangerously slippery! An accident waiting to happen. Was unable to connect to Wi-Fi after multiple tries.
