I have stayed at the place years ago when it was Super 8 and the improvements that have been made to the rooms since new ownership has taken over are great. This property operates as two separate entities, but the only difference in the rooms is the Suburban Studios rooms have a larger fridge, cooktop and kitchen sink. They are both owned by Choice Hotels. For whatever reason, when I stayed, the Quality Inn rooms were going for over $150 a night and the Suburban Studios one was $95 even though the Suburban Studios one has more amenities. Not sure what that was all about (there was some tennis tournament going on so maybe a cash grab for tourists at Quality Inn?). The Suburban Studios rooms are in the very back building (there are 3 buildings) and the doors open to the outside, which I am usually not a fan of, but I knew this property was built like that ahead of time and was able to park just a few feet from my door which was nice. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was remodeled nicely as well but they did cut a few corners. The bathroom door didn't shut all the way. It was like the door was too big for the frame and you could tell that was remnant from prior to remodeling. I honestly didn't care one way or another but that could be a big deal to other guests. The bathtub also looked to be the same old kinda stained bathtub just with a new surround, but again, not a big deal. Shower was hot, decent water pressure, and the water drained. Staff was friendly at check in. They have a free shuttle to King's Island which is nice. We did not wake up early enough for breakfast as it ends at 9:30. I did not go in the pool this time around, but it is the same pool from years past and it was nice before and I always liked that it was open late. I definitely plan on staying again for my annual trips to King's Island.

Feces on wall in bathroom, floor was filthy everywhere. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Bedding stained. Room smell was terrible. After traveling all day my wife and I were too tired to try and find anything else. Steer clear of this place! Sleeping in the parking lot would be better.
