We had a pleasant two-night stay at the Residence Inn Reston Town Center. The location is great right by the Metro stop and a short walk to Reston Town Center with all its restaurants and shops. The check-in staff was very nice and helpful. We liked that the parking garage had bike racks. The hotel is brand new, so everything is nice and clean and fairly modern. We had a one-bedroom suite with two queen beds and a sofa bed. It was as standard as it gets, though again it was nice that everything was new, clean and it good working order. The kids enjoyed the pool, and the outdoor play area right by the hotel. I don't expect too much out of the Residence Inn breakfast buffets, though this one was pretty good.

The lights and charging table by bedroom didn’t work. There was a used soap bar on the shower floor. The room was nice and a good size for our family of 6.

The management is terrible. We could not enjoy any of the hotel other than our room. There was a soccer tournament staying there and hundreds of kids were running all over the place without their parents. The pool was wrecked and our two children got smacked in the face with a football that about 20-30 kids were beaming at each other in the pool. I then had to go down to the lobby because all those kids took all of the towels and my family and other families trying to enjoy the pool (but barely could even get in let alone swim without having to block footballs being thrown towards them constantly) in order to ask for towels and was told to wait in the lobby for housekeeping. I then waited for 30 minutes. Yes 30 minutes for 3 towels so my husband upstairs in the pool with our two children could get out and dry off. It was an absolute horrible stay. And the breakfast options were so bad that we gave up trying to look for a spot to sit and eat (the breakfast is in a lounge area in the 2nd floor) and just went out for breakfast. It was absolutely horrible.
