Sun, Oct 19, 2025 - Fri, Oct 24, 2025 3 guests, 5 nights 2 Bedroom Suite, 2 Queen, 1 King bed, Sofa Bed Room - 328 Trip total - $1,333.80 Chase Points redeemed - 88,920 pts I had taken a red eye and arrived 6:15am. Luckily my friend and his dad arrived first and had a smaller room, so I met him up and we went downstairs for breakfast. The spread was pretty good - eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, breads, fruit, etc. I later took a nap on their couch and by around 12 noon, the room I booked was ready. We were staying for 5 nights, so I said we needed separate bathrooms. Hence the room above. Since we had three people and this had 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, and 3 beds, I thought this was perfect! It was very roomy. Nice little kitchen area as well. The couch wasn't the most comfy, but fine for the amount of time I chilled on it. The beds were comfy as well. The rooms clean. A few times I had asked for extra toiletries and never got them. For some reason I always get super dry on vacation, so I wanted some lotion. Asked for it twice and still never got any. Housekeeping only came by once while we were here. Tho we only requested it twice so they only missed one time. There is a gym which I never checked out. Parking is $10 a day which isn't bad. You definitely need a car if you are staying here. It's in the middle of nowhere. There is a small market of sorts by the front desk selling snack, toiletries, beers, etc. We actually wanted too buy some beer from there on Sunday, but we're from CA. Did not know Sundays were dry. I have Marriott Platinum status and even though I didn't book this officially thru them, the reservation showed up on my app. I was able to request a late check out at 2pm. Not sure if they would have given me 4pm, but we wanted to grab a meal before heading to the airport so that was too late for us. Good hotel if you have a car and need a place that feels more like an apartment.

We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the spacious layout of your suite, the comfort of the beds, our breakfast offerings, and that your early arrival was made a bit easier with the help of your friend and his dad. That said, I’m truly sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with receiving toiletries. You should never have to request items multiple times, and we apologize that this was overlooked. We’ll be reviewing this with our team to ensure better responsiveness moving forward. We’re also sorry to hear that housekeeping missed one of your requested service days—thank you for pointing this out so we can address it. It’s great to know the late checkout option worked out for your travel schedule, and we’re happy the suite setup met your needs for a longer stay. We appreciate your note about the location and your feedback regarding Sunday alcohol sales—definitely an unexpected surprise for many guests unfamiliar with local laws! Thank you again for choosing to stay with us during your trip and for your Marriott loyalty. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide an even smoother experience next time.

The room was comfortable (315) and the hotel staff was friendly. However, the TV in the room didn’t work well and who’s going to call the desk at 11 PM to move to another room. The remote worked, but after a few (up to 10) minutes, the TV started searching for a signal. I must have turned it on and off 10 times to no avail. Need to get this fixed.

The room was very spacious! Probably the biggest hotel room I have stayed in. Had a full kitchen and good sized refrigerator. It was clean and stocked well with towels. The older gentleman that tended breakfast was very attentive and nice! The breakfast had great variety and was really good. It was in a nice location and seemed like a really safe area; sort of away from other things. Make sure you get a parking pass. I didn't receive one from Kanesha (who was nice when checking me in.) Then on the day I was leaving she saw me walking from the Sheraton (where my sister and dad were staying) and said I could get towed if I parked there w/o a pass. (Thankfully I didn't get towed the two nights I stayed there.)

Great stay. Overnighted to take an early morning Amtrak train to New York from the BWI airport. Yes that is a thing. Their is lots of parking although larger SUV types may find it challenging but you are use to the size of you vehicle by now. Front desk was very good. I forget the young ladies name but I felt welcome. The room was super large and very clean. Passed the socks test. The water in the shower was instantly hot. I had a room at the end of the hallway. Sometimes those rooms need a while for the water to get hot. Not here. The only issue was the Internet. Make sure you connect to the Residence Inn network and not the Sheraton next door. My devices had no issues. BUT the Internet TV could not connect to the Internet even though the network box was in the room less then 10 feet away. Not the first Marriott where this has been a problem. But it was only 1 night and I did not raise it as an issue due to the time. I would stay here again. Close to the airport and train station. It just works.

酒店回复: Dear Leroyk, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback and for choosing to stay with us before your early Amtrak departure. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay — from our welcoming front desk team to your clean, spacious room and the instant hot water (always a plus for an early morning start!). We’re sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with the Internet TV connection. We understand how frustrating that can be, especially when everything else is working well. We appreciate you mentioning it, and our engineering team will be looking into the connectivity to ensure it performs smoothly for future guests. It’s great to know that, overall, your stay “just worked” and that you would stay with us again — that means a lot. We look forward to welcoming you back the next time your travels bring you through the BWI area.

Nice staff and breakfast, but...2 issues. (We stayed twice - on our way to an event and on the way home.) First, and most important: Being VERY close to BWI and DIRECTLY in the flight path for take-offs, starting at 5 AM and repeating EVERY 2 MINUTES, our hotel room was filled with the sound of jets taking off, and only a few hundred feet overhead. Forget ear plugs and/or white noise machines or apps - worthless. If you have any plans to sleep to 6 or 7 or even later, don't even think about it. Someone had previously written a review stating that he/she was surprised that they didn't hear any airport noise. My guess is that they were either very early risers or hard of hearing. Second (and only applicable to our 1st stay): We arrived late and were assigned to a room that had a malfunctioning window, causing a howling noise whenever the wind blew, so the staff was nice enough to move us to a quiet corner of the hotel. We settled in for the night, only to hear a loud mechanical noise which would last for 10-15 minutes and then shut off for the same. Ear plugs and a loud white noise app helped a bit. In the morning, we heard that noise, much louder, when we stepped out into the hallway. 2 doors away, there was a mechanical room with an unlocked door, so I opened it and was greeted with what sounded like a malfunctioning jet engine (well over 100 dB). It may have been part of the hotels ventilation system, but something was clearly broken. I took a video and showed it to the AM staff. Their 1st question was "how did you get into that room?" (It was unlocked.) That was followed by "OMG! We'll get our mechanic to take a look." I'm assuming that has been fixed. Each time, however, the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice to have that, but if I'm not getting a good night's sleep, nice doesn't get me there.

酒店回复: Dear OldAndHip, Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your recent stays with us. I’m truly sorry to hear that you weren’t able to get the good night’s sleep you were hoping for — I completely understand how important that is when traveling. Being close to BWI does make us convenient for travelers catching early flights, but we also know the nearby air traffic can be disruptive for light sleepers. Your feedback is appreciated, and we’re working on ways to better communicate room location options during check-in so guests can choose what’s most comfortable for them. I’m also very sorry about the noise from the mechanical room and the issue with the window during your first stay. That’s not the kind of experience we want anyone to have, and I appreciate you bringing it to our team’s attention right away — it helped us take action to get the issue fixed. On a positive note, I’m glad our staff made you feel welcome and took care of you as best they could. They truly care about our guests, and your recognition means a lot to them. We do hope you might consider giving us another try in the future — perhaps in a quieter section of the hotel. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly if you decide to return, and I’ll make sure we do everything possible to provide a more restful stay.

I arrived at Residence Inn BWI after a bad experience at another hotel, feeling overwhelmed. From the moment I walked in, Myra was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. She gave me two rooms to choose from and made me feel at ease. I had to check out early due to a death in my family and was clearly distraught. The young man on the morning shift showed no compassion and bluntly asked, “Mama, what room are you in?” — which felt cold and dismissive.. I asked to speak to Myra, and once again she delivered with grace, patience, and sympathy. She’s a true example of what hospitality should be, and the hotel is lucky to have her! That young man should take notes from her — you never know what people are going through. Despite that one poor interaction, Myra turned my stay into a positive one. I recommend this hotel.

酒店回复: Dear Ebony, First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to share your experience — and for honoring us with your top rating, even during such a difficult time. We’re truly sorry to hear about your loss, and our hearts go out to you and your loved ones. It means a great deal to know that Myra was there for you when you needed compassion the most. She embodies the spirit of hospitality we strive for, and we’re incredibly proud to have her on our team. We will be sure to recognize her for the kindness and professionalism that made such a meaningful difference in your stay. At the same time, I want to sincerely apologize for the lack of empathy you experienced during your checkout. Your feedback is being taken seriously, and we will use it as an opportunity for coaching and growth. You're absolutely right — hospitality is about people first, and we must always be mindful that everyone carries their own story. Thank you again for your recommendation, especially in the face of personal hardship. It speaks volumes about your strength and grace. Should your travels bring you back to the area, we would be honored to welcome you again — hopefully under better circumstances.
