We absolutely loved the Speckled Trout! It was so clean and comfortable. The aesthetic really added to our stay as well! We will most DEFINITELY be back!

Overall excellent small hotel. Staff was very helpful when I didn’t receive my access code for my room. Not their fault but my phones, but everyone made sure I got the hat I needed. Room was lovely although we were only there long enough to sleep. I had never stayed at a in-manned hotel like this but they made the process seamless.

This property was one of the most amazing I have stayed at in a very long time! I loved the contactless check-in, speedy replies, and absolute spotless amenities. I will definitely be staying here again.

This was our second trip to the Brinkwaters. We were excited to relive the tremendous style that we experienced before. It's such a unique place in a little trail town. I was happy to see that we were given room 101 which looked to be the nicest room. We understood ahead of time that it was a "self serve" experience, no staff were physically onsite. I ended up being disappointed in this type of lodging experience. Some of the items we missed were: The welcome binder mentioned in the guest book which was to include the wifi password. The complementary granola mentioned in the guest book. The lack of parking adjacent to the inn. At 11pm at night one guest was watching TV and talking loudly in the common area next to our room. It was rude. Who were we to call? Finally, I went back through all the text communications with the Inn and noticed that never once were the words "Thank you" stated. No thank you for booking or staying with them was ever given.

Very enjoyable stay at a boutique hotel with a unique concept. No front desk, just reserve your room on line, receive your room and hotel door key pad number and that's it. Very comfortable with small refrigerator, toaster oven, griddle and coffee maker. Great common open space at the front of the hotel near street with large table, sectional, TVs, Arcade console and kitchen area. Places to put your bikes and a cool vibe. Would definitely recommend.

We needed a breather and Brinkwaters in Damascus was the perfect place to stay. Located on the Appalachian Trail and steps away from the Virginia Creeper Trail. Brinkwaters was welcoming, quiet and stocked with coffee/games. Their attention to details is unmatched. We walked trails, walked to eat, walked to shops. Drove to Abington for the Oil shop and supper. I don’t think my husband has slept so well in years! Thanks Brinkwaters!

Very nicely recently redone building for rental rooms, well done, very user friendly in the room / kitchen appliances. Bed was comfortable, bathroom nice. Code to enter building and room great, no need for key. Lobby area lovely, microwave, large fridge, sitting areas and books/ games if interested.
