Not Happy
The people who work at Bay Area Suites are phenomenal; the problems that I had with the stay had nothing to do with those who work there. They did their job to the utmost of their ability but were limited based on the hotel establishment itself. The photos on the website need to be updated, as some of the features that are claimed by the hotel no longer exist. There is a pool associated with the hotel; however, there is a cost tied to it for every individual who uses it. That is not listed anywhere on the website. If you order food for room service, all charges have to be paid at the moment of purchase, which makes things sometimes complicated. The most important thing was the German cockroaches. We first saw them in the bathroom area the first night but noticed them throughout the hotel room during our stay. We could not switch rooms as all rooms were booked, and I could not switch hotels as they were fully booked as well because of local events.
