We planned our wedding at Yellow Bamboo Resort, and it truly turned into my dream wedding. After seeing many grand and vast venues across Coorg, we realised our hearts were set on something more intimate. Tucked away within a coffee estate, Yellow Bamboo felt right instantly and it later became the most beautiful venue of my life. From day one, when I was extremely stressed and overwhelmed with a hundred thoughts, the staff was nothing but supportive and patient. I had shared a list of small concerns with the resort about a few things like lights, rugs, and carpets and they didn’t just promise to fix them, they actually replaced everything with better options. That effort meant so much to me. The rooms were dreamy, spotless, and the service throughout our stay was absolutely top-notch. Coming from North India, weddings for us are incomplete without great food and Yellow Bamboo truly shined like a diamond there. Every single guest is going to remember the food and the menu for years to come, it was that exceptional. Ironically, me and my husband didn’t get to taste much because we were too caught up in everything, but the compliments kept pouring in and that said it all. Despite having back-to-back functions for two straight days, everything ran so seamlessly. Every detail we had planned was executed and presented exactly the way we had imagined, if not better. We even planned spa sessions for our guests and the resort not only gave us a generous discount but also arranged extra therapists so more in-house guests could enjoy it without any hassle. I would wholeheartedly recommend Yellow Bamboo for any function or even a destination wedding. I truly cannot thank Mandanna, Girish, and Matthew enough. They probably don’t realise this, but it’s their hard work, care, and dedication during our stay that will forever live in my memories of the most important day of my life. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully designed with a perfect blend of comfort and nature. The staff were warm and courteous, always ready to assist with a smile — truly making the experience memorable.
