Okay hotel, when I booked they said there was a microwave in room but there wasn’t. Staff was rude and uninformative

Day of business travel ended poorly when arriving at the hotel and told my reservation was cancelled due to overbooking! I was told that an email was sent advising of the cancellation. When traveling on business, there's not the time for checking emails on a regular basis making sure a reservation made months in advance, would be cancelled because they over booked the hotel. I'm a Marriott points member who's stayed with your hotels on many occasions and very disappointed with the recent events that made me drive to another hotel late in the evening after a long day of travel.

Newish Hotel with Inconvenient Short Staffed Set U
The hotel seems new but our a/c unit didn’t work and the set up shares a lobby and staff with a residents inn. It is short staffed. Our check-in took a long time in a hot lobby. No cleaning of room. Parking is underground with electric plugin which is nice but there are not enough spots for both hotels. It’s off putting. And the seemingly good location is inside a weird new community that has parking restrictions and hard to access the highway or restaurants/shops. It’s not convenient as it seems. I’d rate it okay as a result.

It was frustrating to pay nearly $300 for a single night and not be able to access the lobby or get checked in for nearly 15 minutes. At this price point I expect full staff and a smooth check in. That wasnt the.case here.

Room for improvement!
Really beautiful new hotel, however got there at 310 to check in. No rooms available alright check in time is 4pm so we left and came back at 4. Still no room available, they did offer a snack from there little cafe but hard to entertain the kids that one. Finally around 445 and I watching 20 other people check it and went back up there to see if our room was ready. But still wasn’t ready , I asked if i needed a refund so I could book at a different hotel? But they then called house keeping to put a rush on it so close to 5 we finally got room. Very poor start to our stay. Also in the room the fire alarm flashes a light all night long which can affect sleep. With being new hopefully they work out the issues.

No extra pillows or blankets. The bathroom was very dirty, especially the counters, floor and shower.

Brand new hotel. The staff was attentive and polite, the rooms were clean and well-appointed. My only gripe was that breakfast was not included, and the options were overpriced.
