We were there because my daughter was to have surgery early Thursday morning. I asked for a wake up call for 5 AM and never received it and the plug in the tub did not work!

The poolnwas nice, but in need of cleaning. The sundries store was helpful, especially for being in the middle of no where.

Wyndham has online check in and check.out options. I responded to their prompts and chose a checkout time of 10:15. While we were loading our stuff the cleaning staff decided to enter and start cleaning at about 9:15. We had not turned in our keys, i still needed to use the bathroom and take meds. I wasn't able to do that. To add insult to injury the cleaning staff made fun of the situation instead of remedying it. The front desk did not acknowledge what I said and told me to drive safe. I don't think they were listening, they seemed more focused on their conversation. ******* gave me a $20 credit. Wyndham apologized for the inconvenience and let the property know. I feel like this was more than an inconvenience, since this made me ill. I don't feel like Wyndham has really done anything to make it right.

Thank you to the whole team in Marshall. The lobby and breakfast area was clean and well maintained. Our room was set with fresh towels every day. The pool area was clean and well kept. The common areas are

Clean and updated hotel and the staff was very friendly. However, room had an off smell to it and unfortunately, there may have been some guests smoking in a nearby room because later at night a waft of **** came into our rooms and lingered for quite some time.

We have stayed at this hotel many times with no cleanliness issues in the past. We got into our hotel late. We went to the pool and back to the room after. The day was exhausting so we went right to bed. In the morning, as we were packing up and heading home. This is when we noticed the mold on the sides of the bed and the bed boards. I told the front desk about the mold and she took off half the room charge.

Paid extra for early check in.. all the rooms carpets were soaked with water. Dehumidifiers in rooms.. heard rumors that the hotel flooded.. not sure why they would book anyone in soggy smelly rooms at extremely high prices.. should have been discounted.. I pay less for a similar room in downtown Chicago.

The breakfast was average. Some of us missed the ham and some of us missed the bacon. The showerhead was leaking and shampoo dispenser was almost empty. Should have went in the pool because it looked like a good place to swim.

On Friday night, the fire alarm went off at 3am. And on a Sunday morning, I wasn't allowed a late checkout, something I've never been denied at the end of a weekend. Very disappointed.
