The Mantra had always been our favourite place to stop in as we travel by Gladstone every few months, I’ve always had an amazing experience until this trip, I called before booking and spoke to a man who didn’t seem interested at all to talk, ok no problems probably had a bad day so I booked online, I have two 1y/o’s myself and then my older child, I always book asking for portable cot either one or two and then just one bed as my oldest just shares a bed with me and the little ones either share a bed with me too or sleep in a portable cot.This time there was only availability for two nights at the Peppers side, which isn’t cheap but also we were excited to experience the ‘5 Star’ they’ve been boasting. Check in was fine, the lady was lovely, when we got to the room it was nice but the portable cots weren’t in the room, no issues, I called and asked for them to be brought up. Then as I made them I realised there wasn’t sheets or a blanket or anything so I called again and was told some would be brought up, but the lady brought up a bunch of pillow cases instead, ok no problems, I’ll use them and towels. Later on I went down to get a key and was greeted by the man who had spoken to me on the phone the previous day, he told me I’d booked the wrong room and I had to have two rooms as they allow 2 adults and one child instead of one adult and two babies and a child, but as I’d already checked in and paid he would ‘let it slide’ this time, ok awesome conversation to have after 13 hours of driving but noted. Then the next day after housekeeping came and removed the towels (which I’d used as blanket/sheets for the cots) I called and asked for more towels and also sheets, I was told ‘we will have to count up all the sheets and towels we have already given you’ … I was shocked to be accused of stealing towels and sheets, she came up with two towels I shows her my open bag proving I’ve not stolen any sheets or towels. I’ve stayed in many 5 star resorts and hotels, peppers Gladstone is nowhere close to 5 star. I’ve never had staff make me feel like a thief and someone who should not be there. Not to mention the shower pressure is minimal and they didnt replenish any of the amenities and the sheets are crinkled and don’t cover the bed. Things I’d never normally even mention, but the staff are happy to take the money but not to welcome guests accordingly, sadly now we need to find a new stopover hotel. Sadly as the attitude came from the general manager himself, yet I remained polite even after being accused of stealing hotel sheets and towels … which is laughable..
房间不错 新装修的。但是餐食很糟糕,建议外出吃饭。游泳池聊胜于无。附近有个工厂lookout。可以去逛逛。除此之外就是个过路的城市。
没有窗户,通风不好,我做饭的烟散不出去,只能打开门,房间比较新,但是离市中心很远,需要打车,Uber不好打
房间很棒,干净、舒适,布局也很好。淋浴水流很棒,床超级舒服。房间里有洗衣机/烘干机真的太方便了。小厨房设施齐全,应有尽有。
我们收到了天台酒吧的饮品券,但酒吧却关门了。很遗憾,日间水疗中心也没有开放。
不过,我对食物不太满意。
餐厅预订满了,所以我们叫了客房服务。沙拉没有酱汁,尽管我们下次点餐时提出了要求,但还是没有。
早餐非常令人失望,如果你在餐厅用餐,咖啡用纸杯装真的太糟糕了。自助早餐烹饪得很差,炒鸡蛋很难吃。
房间非常干净整洁,员工友善乐于助人。楼下有点令人失望,完全没有氛围,晚上7:30一点音乐都没有。不像网页上宣传的那样有鸡尾酒吧,而且员工也不会调任何鸡尾酒。
房间非常漂亮、宽敞、舒适,而且布置精美。工作人员非常专业、礼貌、高效。酒吧区是一个舒适的地方,可以坐下来喝杯啤酒放松一下。我没有尝试晚餐或早餐自助餐,但它看起来和闻起来都很不错。如果这样旅行,我一定会再次住在这里!
房间美极了。时尚现代,空间宽敞。超大特大床非常舒适,我们睡得非常香甜。Sky Deck Bar 很棒。氛围轻松,是享用免费饮品的好地方。前台工作人员非常友好,免费的安全停车位更是锦上添花。总而言之,这是我们住过的最好的酒店房间。强烈推荐!
从进出酒店,我们享受了完美的五星级住宿体验。礼宾员Jaydn在前厅迎接了我,他主动帮我把车停在安全的停车场,并帮我把行李送到房间。这笔费用包含在Peppers酒店的住宿费用中。前台接待人员笑容满面,并详细讲解了酒店设施。酒店设有全新的空中酒吧和泳池区,以及Peppers客人专享的私人影院和健身房,让我们倍感舒适。我们非常享受Encore自助晚餐,尤其是现场烹饪台,Chris显然非常乐意为您烹饪。房间很安静,床是超大号的,非常舒适,而且是全新的。浴缸很大,浴室用品闻起来很香。强烈推荐入住格拉德斯通的Peppers酒店。
