This hotel is a very nice chain hotel in the Waycross area in Georgia. When we traveled to this hotel, it was very new and had the feel of a new hotel. There was also a very modern feel. The hotel has many amenities like a nice lounge in the lobby with a TV, free breakfast, and a weight room. The weight room was spotless, and the lobby was very nice, but the free breakfast is not a five-star meal, just what you would expect from a chain hotel. The room was very nice and clean, though there was one hair in the room. The service was mostly good, however we only got three towels in our room on our second night when we had four people. One other complaint with the service was that the body wash soap was empty and the toilet paper was not replaced by housekeeping, but other then that, no complaints. Housekeeping also made our beds, which surprisingly housekeeping at some other hotels we have stayed at have not done for a two day stay. Our room was on the third floor, and there are four floors including the ground floor. Noise level was very quiet, we only heard one train outside during our entire stay. I would say that this hotel is good value, we only paid around $130 plus taxes per night for a nice, spacious room with two beds, and a bathroom with a shower. The room was spacious enough for four people. The area was good, with a Walmart, Cracker Barrel, and Olive Garden nearby. The Okefenokee swamp is nearby, about a 40 minute drive to the far entry gate.

This hotel does not live up to the Marriott brand. The only good thing was the event staff at check in. We stayed Jan 31.2026-Feb 1, 2026. The room was very dirty. There was a partially drunk bottle of tequila in one of the drawers. Our 4 year old found it. There was also multiple empty water bottle, urine on toilet seat, hair in shower , trash on floor, plus other issues. The next morning I asked to speak to the manager and I was told, there would not be a manager on duty until Tuesday. Completely unacceptable.

We have been loyal Marriott members - gold elite lifetime members - for many years. Tonight was a first. This afternoon, we booked a room at the Fairfield Inn in Waycross, Georgia using points. We received a confirmation. When we arrived at the hotel to check in, the front desk clerk could not find our reservation. We showed her our confirmation and she called the general manager. The front desk clerk said her manager cancelled our reservation as well as 8 other reservations because the hotel was full. We were not called, texted, or emailed to say the hotel was full and our reservation would be cancelled. We drove about 50 miles out of the way to go to a Marriott hotel. The clerk could not even tell us where the nearest Marriott hotel was or even where another hotel in Waycross was. We looked to see where the closest Marriott was and it was an hour away kind of in the wrong direction from where we are headed. We asked to talk with general and the front desk clerk said her manager P had left for the day. We asked about returning our points and the front desk clerk said they would be returned but she had no idea when. We are skeptical if points will be returned; however, they should be! Further, as a Gold Elite member, the Ultimate Reservation Guarantee states “If we cannot honor your reservation, we’ll pay for you to stay nearby and compensate you for the inconvenience.” We were told they do not do this. Well, if this Marriott hotel does not do this, then why is it on my profile? Very disappointed with how we were treated! This is horrible customer service! 😕

This hotel only opened a few months ago. At $200 a night it’s not cheap. The rooms are nice but the HVAC window systems are noisy. The shower pressure is very poor and just will not be popular. We had issues with the phone too. There was no hand soap “they were out”. There’s no (zero) acknowledgement for a titanium member. The towels smell of bleach - over powering so. Staff need training. Could be great.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was beautiful The beds were amazingly comfortable as well as the pillows. Breakfast was hot,fresh & tasty. front desk staff, Gracie & Charlene were so nice! They were extremely professional,friendly & very welcoming! Thank you for having such a wonderful staff everyone was pleasant and helpful. we will return here on our way back home!! Husband came to town as an insurance adjuster to work the recent storm. Had a confirmed reservation. Got to the hotel after traveling all day and was told they had no room and he didn’t have a reservation and their system was down. Mariott confirmed he did have a reservation and knew nothing of this hotel having reservation issues. They were supposed to honor a walk policy for elite members by assisting them in finding a place to stay. They didn’t do this. Instead the staff was rude, unhelpful and no manger would call him back. They finally after two hours of waiting for a manager who never showed or called gave him 1 night stay but sent him packing the next morning. He was there for two weeks to help people harmed by the storm and treated like trash! Very disappointed! I get the storm created problems but for the staff to be so rude and unhelpful and no help just ignored by management was just wrong!

Staff at this hotel does not follow-up, is dismissive and dishonest. I left a jacket in my room, called within 15 minutes of check-out and jacket cannot be found and there is no recourse. Highly disappointed, would not recommend nor will I be back.

Nice new hotel that we came across when visiting Waycross with the family. The suite room was perfect for our family of four. Friendly staff, great breakfast and it even had electric car chargers which was convenient! After staying at the other hotels in Waycross as well, this will definitely be our #1 choice now.

Newest and most beautiful hotel in Waycross!!Fantastic staff and clean facilities with great tv entertainment and a large fitness room. Should be your go to hotel in this town! Everything is excellent about this property! You will love it!
