The hotel's rude General Manager, Corinne Daehn, told us that we arrived at the hotel around 1 PM with six rooms because the weather was great and we wanted to go skiing and change our clothes. However, she said that check-in time was 4 PM and the rooms weren't ready. We asked her to at least give us one room so that the women could change comfortably, but she disrespectfully said that this wasn't possible and that if we wanted to ski, we would have to change in the restroom. While the argument was happening in the lobby, another group of our friends entered the hotel to check in, and without realizing they were from our group, she immediately gave them their room. This was unacceptable and the last straw. This is ****** behavior and it's not nice; your job is to help customers and ensure they have a good vacation!

We are just finishing our stay and it has been excellent. The rooms are spacious, the location is great, you can hire equipment right by the slopes and store overnight and the staff are all very helpful and charming The breakfast is sufficient with some hot options and the afternoon cakes are great and served as you relax in the lounge. We had noticed some reviews complain about the lack of a restaurant/bar, but we knew in advance and it’s nice to have a relaxed boutique hotel and there is no lack of restaurants in 1850! As for the price - this is Courchevel 1850 and the hotel delivers exactly what it offered, so we were all very happy
