Review dated: 07/01/2026 We stayed at this property for just one day and checked out the following day. The property has been recently taken on lease and currently appears to be highly understaffed. The owner and most of the staff are from Northeast India. Guests should be prepared to communicate primarily in English, as only a few staff members speak Hindi, and that too to a limited extent. That said, everyone we interacted with was genuinely polite, courteous, and well-mannered. However, while their attitude is commendable, politeness alone is not sufficient to ensure a comfortable stay. At present, the property does not seem fully ready to host guests and would benefit from more time to address several operational and maintenance-related issues. Dinner is provided complimentary, but the food options are very limited. The dinner menu includes dal, mixed vegetable, one chicken curry, rice, and tawa roti. Breakfast consists of bread, boiled eggs, parathas with curd, and tea. While the food quantity may be adequate, the choices are quite restricted and may not suit guests accustomed to buffet-style breakfasts or a wider variety typically offered by well-equipped hotels. The property itself is quite old and requires significant maintenance. The mattresses are deteriorating, the linen was not clean, and the outdoor areas need attention. The rooms are poorly maintained, and the bathrooms are old and in need of repair. When traveling for a holiday, the overall luxury of a property matters less than basic room comfort. Essentials such as a comfortable bed, clean linen, a usable sofa, proper room heating, and reliable hot water—especially during winter—are crucial. Unfortunately, these aspects were lacking during our stay. Food and other services come later, but basic comfort is non-negotiable. At this stage, I would recommend travelers consider alternative accommodation options so their valuable vacation time is not compromised. That said, the people managing the property are genuinely kind, and I sincerely hope that with time and effort, they will make the necessary improvements to offer a much better experience in the future. I wish them all the very best in their journey ahead.
