I rode with Himalayan Owners Group, on our quarterly overnighter, from Chandigarh. We were a group of 11 Harley Bikers. My experience of the stay, here, was very good, close to perfect. The employees also went the extra mile to make our stay, memorable. A special thanks to Bhoop Ram ji, Surinder ji, Bharti mam and Uday sir. I would definitely recommend this resort/hotel to anyone planning a trip to Chail.

The hotel is having a good location with an attractive lawn; breakfast is very good; rooms were spacious, they are having some indoor game arrangements to spend time in the evening; it shall be a well recommended place for staying at Chail The Kalo tibba temple was nearby, other attraction was also great … all staff were courteous

I went with my family and we had an amazing time! Everything was just perfect. The highlight was meeting the owner – such a warm person who personally takes feedback and even shares home-grown fruits with guests. I was truly impressed by how dedicated he is to making sure every single guest has a pleasant and memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Ekant Retreat Resort is, in my opinion, the best hotel to stay near the Chail market area. It’s located in a quiet spot just before the market, which means you can enjoy peace without the traffic and noise. The rooms are spacious and offer scenic views. The lawn is a major highlight—perfect for enjoying outdoor meals while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The property also has a large waiting lounge, a kids’ play area, and enough parking space for around 10–12 vehicles. However, because of the open layout, we did encounter quite a few insects, crickets, and similar creatures—even inside the room. The biggest disappointment was the food. On our first night, we tried their buffet dinner at ₹750 per person, and it was not worth the price. The chicken was undercooked, and there was a hair in the mutton curry. The next night, we switched to à la carte, but that wasn’t any better. The chicken tasted unpleasant—possibly due to long freezing—and overall, the food quality didn’t match the high prices. The buffet breakfast was much better compared to other meals.

The property Ekant Retreat Resort is well maintained and has an excellent scenic view. The staff, management is extremely hospitable and sweet. A special shout out to the chef for the amazing food. I would highly recommend a stay with friends and family here!

It was very fancy/cosy and had a good view of mountains/ pine trees. Good facilities. Playing fooseballl, table tennis, badminton in green lawn with view of pine trees surrounding you was relaxing. Lychee juice in breakfast was good. Great

A nice resort with a picturesque views from the balcony. Special mention for a really prompt and excellent service. The staff is polite and helpful that makes the stay even more relaxing and pleasant. Tip for nature lovers: Do explore a walking trail beside the resort early morning
