What an absolutely beautiful hidden gem of a Hotel. We stayed for The Traitors night with some friends and they gave us the most memorable evening. The food was excellent and the bedrooms are very, modern, cozy and spotlessly clean. We loved the bathroom with the deep bath and the lovely toiletries, big fluffy towels and bathrobes. The staff were very helpful :0) and the breakfast was excellent.

Excellent Sunday lunch with friendly and attentive service. Nice cosy environment, perfect for a family twixmas meet up. Good value for money.

The room was spotless, you can tell it was recently renovated. The amenities were amazing, the beds were super comfortable and we had one of the best sleeps we’ve ever had at a hotel.
The breakfast the next day was phenomenal, there is good choice. We went for the vegetarian breakfast and those veggie sausages were top class! Kids also loved the pancakes.
All in all a very pleasant stay, the finishing touches on the refurbishment are all high quality, and the food is clearly sourced from the very best and most delicious ingredients.

The Hotel is in an excellent position for a stop off on a longer journey or for visiting /the surrounding area. Just off the A66 but in a very quiet location. Rooms are comfortable and excellent sized. Very good bar & restaurant, and excellent friendly staff throughout the hotel. We will be back.

We received a very warm welcome and taken to a beautifully appointed room with an excellent decent sized bathroom, both of which were spotlessly clean. All decor was up to date, smart and nicely furnished. An excellent breakfast served by a very polite and attentive member of staff. It set us up nicely for our onward journey. Would recommend this place to anyone. It also has a excellent restaurant menu too.

Very handy position on the A66, but quiet. Bar prices inline with other establishments. Food excellent but pricey.
