Booked this hotel on ******* as the pictures made it look promising, but do not be deceived!
Were provided 2 rooms for 4 guests. First set of rooms had damaged walls, dirty sheets (which we requested to be changed), and odor.
We then asked for new room options and the new rooms again, had dirty sheets, odor, and one room had a hole in the bathroom wall allowing mosquitoes into the room.
When asking about the sheets, we were informed that the "housekeeper had not come that day" (it was evening time) and we would have to wait... what??
When asked about food options, they informed us that their kitchen was closed, again it was about 6/7pm so dinner time and we would have to order food from outside.
this location is about 30 mins from main Kanpur so no options for food to walk to easily.
After we were eaten alive by mosquitoes within 30 minutes, we asked to be changed into new rooms, to which we were denied due to lack of availability so we asked if we could leave and get a refund.
The hotel said since we paid through ******* and it was a same day booking, they couldn't refund it so would have to call *******.
we were made to sign a ledger saying we were checking out, and we left assuming it would be easy to get a refund from *******. ******* was unable to get a hold of the establishment and has since denied the refund.
DO NOT STAY HERE!
