RUN. This "motel and pub", and OYO, are literally a scam.

I reserved a room for myself, husband, and our 5 y.o. via *******. I called from the road and asked if we could check in a little late, like 8-8:30 p.m., and was told "that should be fine."

We arrived at 8:34 p.m. My husband went in while I stayed with our child in the car. After a few minutes he came out and said they could not find a reservation under my name. We switched places. I went in and could not find an office, only a bar. I came back out.

Outside, music blared over drunk guests laughing and smoking cigarettes. My husband informed me there is no front desk or office, but he spoke to the bartender and she told him there's no reservation.

I went back in and spoke with the "receptionist"/bartender further. She informed me that "their system" had canceled my reservation because they were "overbooked by these booking companies" like *******. She also informed me that I would be charged the full amount for my canceled reservation, that she was not able to offer me another room because none were available, nor could she refund my money, because "the system" would not allow it.

This entire conversation took place in a tiny side room inside a bar, in which her computer monitor faced me and the door. I could see other guests' full names and reservation details.

Fast forward: After numerous calls and chats with ******* and OYO, no refund. I reported it as fraud on my credit card and they removed the charge.

RUN.

Price was great, as was location to ESU. Room was good, nice size, beds comfortable. Coffee machine but no cups. No shampoo just hand soaps. Couldn't get tv to work. No office

Great weekend with fun people. Bartender Renee is attentive and outgoing! Karaoke night lots of entertainment. Convenient location. Pool fun for kids and adults.

Canceled reservation 24 hrs prior to policy, due to no ADA accommodations. Can not do steps , with a service animal, mobility issues. The hotel could not accommodate. Spoke with resort directly, well ahead of cancellation policy. I was charged full amount, refusing to refund for a stay I did not stay , due to no ADA accommodation offered. Oyo is refusing to refund, who is handling the reservation. Buyer be ware…..

"non-smoking" room clearly had had a recent smoker in it. Hadn't been cleaned properly... toilet paper roll was almost gone; dirt on the floor; hair in one of the bath towels; the shower had to run for 30s before the rusty orange water turned clear; no indication of hot/cold water; the toilet flushed ok once but I had to open up the back of it and fix the mechanism the second time; there were a few flies in the room; one bed's mattress had several dips; stained bedspread; the other bed was ok, slept well enough. I don't want to know what anything may have looked like with a black light.

My wife Judy introduced me to Werrys years ago and we just love it there. The owners Sam and Linda are great people. The way we like to describe the hotel/bar is it's an old, country western/ biker bar vibe with lots of character. The locals are now close friends. When we arrive, its a nice welcoming feeling. The location is great, the pool is inviting, the bartenders are attentive and friendly. No matter who you sit next to, you'll hear a great story. Karaoke night are a lot of fun. This is not a fancy, schmancy place but its definitely one of our favorites.

Absolutely Disgusting – Do Not Stay Here

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. This was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The room was filthy—the floors were so dirty they had a sticky film on them, and every step felt gross. It smelled like cigarettes, and there were food wrappers and trash all over the floor when I walked in.

There were bugs everywhere—ants crawling around and even beetles in the bathroom. The tub had clearly been used and not cleaned, and the entire bathroom was in unacceptable condition.

It was clear no effort had been made to clean the room before my arrival. This place is unsanitary, unhygienic, and should not be open to guests in its current state. Avoid at all costs.

For the price which was $80. It was a acceptable place, but not a place that you’d want to spend more than one night. The sheets in the comforter had stains on them and the walls and the floor were dirty. The people were not bad they were very nice and friendly, but in regards to the room itself, it was not that great.
