4/5 stars . This was a older Marriott at about 25 years old but the hotel had been modernized inside. Seems each room has a balcony and the pool gets late afternoon sun. the front desk agent was so nice she let me check in a bit early when my flight got in. Large shopping center right next door to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. :)

I am local but needed a hotel for a night so I chose this property since it was new. I typically avoid the brand because of the garish carpet, so I was happy this one had more modern colors. The staff at the front desk was friendly at check in though my status was not acknowledged. A small thing and unimportant to most, but I always appreciate it. The room itself was fine. Standard room. (No upgrade offered). The bed was comfy. TV was the standard Marriott tv with the frustrating remote with the flat buttons (I HATE the remotes). The shower was nice with a little foot step for leg shaving. Water was a good temperature and pressure. Here is what I didn’t like: The window shades are this bizarre fall leaf print. It looks ridiculous from inside and out. Not sure why in the middle of the summer I was looking over at brown and yellow leaves. It felt cheap. What also felt cheap was the $5 parking fee. There were maybe 6 cars in the parking lot, and the rest of the lot was filled with construction equipment. A $5 parking fee feels like an unnecessary money grab in an otherwise upscale area. I have stayed at several other properties in the area (both Fairfield and Courtyard) and neither charged a parking fee. I was so put off by the parking fee that next week, when I need a room for another night, I have decided to stay up the street at the Marriott. Prices are comparable and they don’t charge for parking.

Fabulous staff! Everyone went above and beyond. The general manager was onsite when needed and very eager to lend a helping hand! It’s brand new, you can still smell the paint. Bed is comfy and linens were crisp. The only notes to consider have nothing to do with the staff here but the walls and floors are paper thin. You can tell the owner chose the economy build option , so be aware that noise levels are elevated. (Removed one star). Would stay again but only during low occupancy. Other than that you’ll like it! Close to many shops, dining and the highway.
