It's a mediocre hotel. They are working on cleaning it up though... Not only cleaning up/updating the rooms, but also the area around the property. It was a rather unsafe place at once time, but over the past 6 to 12 months, the improvements are very noticable.

Modern and clean.
The check in process was quick and easy. The room was modern and clean. The room did not have a TV remote. I called the front desk and they had a new remote delivered in about 5 minutes. The bed was comfortably and I had no problem falling asleep.

Barely acceptable stay
My room was barely acceptable. The water wasn't very hot out of the shower, it was hotter coming from the sink in the kitchenette area and it was slow to drain so taking a shower was standing in 3" of water. Overall it needs proper cleaning and I have stayed in nice Motel 6's before. It was a quiet area. And this was the second room they put me in, the first was worse.

Very basic, affordable if you don’t want extras
Immediately upon opening the door, i was hit with the strongest urine smell in the room. The toilet seat had burn spots in it and it was broken as well. Hot water didn’t stay hot for long. Fridge did not seem cold at all. Very basic hotel, we just needed it because we were without power so essentially it got the job done but could’ve smelled better.
