Good place to stay, good value for money. I would only recommend changing the carpet for ceramic tile flooring in the future.

It is a nice, no-frills place to stay. I was reffing a tournament and they didn't tell us it was a home football game and family day. This was a little further away than I wanted, but after staying there, it turned out it was in a good spot. Not a lot around that was walkable, but about a five minute drive to everywhere I needed to be.
The room was clean, I was able to park right outside the door to unload and load my stuff easily, the place ended up being pretty full, but I never heard anyone else when I was in the room. The map shows it near an airport and railroad tracks, but I never heard a plane or train. Not really any extras, just basic bed and wifi and TV, but for a comfortable and quiet place to stay, it was perfect for me.

So, I was a bit hesitant about this place initially, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff member who checked me in was nice and prompt. The room, even though it was designated for smokers, did not have a bad odor. The rest of the room was clean, the A/C worked well, the WiFi worked well, and the water was steady and consistently hot. I would book here again.

It was disappointing. I chose this hotel because it was supposed to be near the airport, but it was actually quite far, and there was nothing in the area. I had to use DoorDash for food and walk half a mile to reach a gas station. My car was in storage since I was leaving the country for six months.
There was a soda vending machine that took my money without dispensing a drink. When I informed the staff, they said it wasn't their responsibility, as the machine belonged to someone else. I decided to settle for ice water, but found there was no ice machine. Eventually, the staff did give me some ice from their personal supply, which was appreciated—hence, two stars instead of one. However, I had to ask for it; it wasn't offered.
Additionally, the mattress had a plastic cover under the sheet, which felt unsettling—like staying in a nursing home. Overall, I would not recommend this place, even for the price. The owners need to take at least some responsibility for the amenities. At a minimum, there should be working vending machines and an ICE machine.

Firstly, Scottish Inn & Suites is the second closest property to Lubbock International Airport with a distance of 4.6 miles, I understand it may appear further, however we are located nearer than most overnight accomodations. We apologize if this was not clear on the website or on google. Secondly, the vending machines on property are ran by a third party, for which we directed you to their contact information to address your concerns. Instead, we found this machine vandalized with marker the next morning. Lastly, we strive to provide the best service we can in both the cleanliness and comfort of your stay. We hope you had a restful night before your travels.

Stayed here for its approximaty to the airport. Its about 8-10 mins from the airport. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.

Cheap, dingy hotel. Room was hot when we entered, because the AC was off. Took 2 hours to cool down. Friend did not sleep well.
