What a wonderful experience. I didn't meet Francisco but Sara was a dream. She picked me up at the train station and brought me to the adorable little apartment on a quiet side street but in the middle of this quiet charming town. Sara gave all the information I needed and brought me breakfast that was so plentiful that it lasted for the next day breakfast and part of lunch. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Martina Franca.

What a wonderful stay in Martina Franca! We read the great reviews about Relais Santa Maria and they were spot on. Just outstanding! The room was charming, well appointed and so beautiful. It captured the warmth and history of the area. And our hosts, Sara and Francesco couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. When we arrived in our rental car, they guided us to a parking spot and insisted on carrying our luggage to the apartment. Once inside, we were greeted with baskets of food, snacks and wine. The mini fridge was filled with drinks. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was large with his and her accommodations. Sara was there the following mornings with a superb breakfast and always greeted us with a big smile. After breakfast, walk around the corner and you are in the center of activity for shopping, dining and attractions. Sara was also in constant communication to make sure we had everything we needed and that all was good. This is one of special place with special owners. Thank you, Sara and Francesco!
