I ended up getting a refund but the staff stated refund did process so I had to dispute the charges

I'm totalIy disappointed that a so-called National chain does not equip their employees to use common sense! I reserved a room a few hours before I arrived at the hotel, and they would not let me have my room because my Texas Drivers license is a temporary paper copy. Texas only issues Temporary paper copies while you wait for your permanent drivers license to be sent by mail. So does North Carolina and many other states. I AM SURE THAT THIS SITUATION HAPPENS DURING MANY CHECK-INS. One would think that a national chain would be prepared for this, and accept the totally legal temporary paper copy which has the driver's photo, instead of forcing a customer to try and find another hotel in the middle of the night. The room was already paid for, so who cares about this trivial technicality! The fact that this Motel 6 was totally uncooperative and unprepared for this, makes them deserving of the lowest rate possible.

Yes room and property was clean.
Was in 2 other hotels this past week, n others ask for my husbands drivers license, when I paid for the room..the man and desk said he needed to see who my traveling companion was and his ID…WHY?

The motel itself is okay. But the service there is awful. If you have animals, they expect you to carry your animals with you at all times. They cannot be in the room by themselves or anything. You cannot have visitors at the hotel either without their permission so unless you just go in there to be by yourself then I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
