The manager couple went out of their way to provide us with every assistance. I had broken my ankle the morning we checked in, so they arranged a room for us with easy access to amenities. It is a beautiful facility with a beautiful view across the lake from comfortable furnishings on its large deck. Tasteful and cozy decor in room, as well as in the shared lounge room. Excellent bedding. Quiet despite location on main road.

To say that The New Denver Lodge (NDL) is a diamond in the rough is an understatement. This wonderful lodge in the quiet and scenic little town of New Denver BC has many wonderful amenities such as; a stunning view from its deck, a huge study/lounging room, an indoor pool at just the right temperature, a huge hot tub, gorgeous rooms, and, best of all the lodge’s hosts are the BEST. Our hosts were Tirzah and Jay who made us welcome and provided great breakfasts but basically left us to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the lodge... i.e. NON of the oh-too-often “in-your-face” hassle that comes with some establishments. In short, a great place to stay at any time of the year. We totally loved it!!!!!!

My husband and I stayed at the New Denver Lodge and would highly recommend this accommodation. Taisa, the host, is very professional and personable. I had several questions prior to making our booking and she was prompt in her responses to my questions. She met us when we arrived at the Lodge and made us feel very welcome. Taisa and Evan are excellent hosts and were very excessive during our stay. The New Denver Lodge is an excellent property for: small weddings, retreats, family reunions and group holidays. It is also suitable for couples as it has three rooms which are separate from the group area. Guests staying in the separate accommodations, which are located within the Lodge, have access to all the common areas. The Lodge has: an indoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, large deck with gas fire pit, lounging chairs, barbeque area, bar area with dining tables and an infrared sauna. Inside the Lodge you will also find a large common area with a pool table, big screen TV and many places to sit and socialize or read a book. You also have access to a large kitchen in which you can make your meals and store your food. We found everything to be very clean and in good order. The outdoor spaces are breathtaking! The view from our room included Slocan lake and the mountain range. We also had our own private sitting area with two Adirondack chairs and a table. The flowers in the bar and outdoor dining area are beautiful. You can walk from the Lodge to the lake in about 10 to 15 minutes. The grocery store in town is also about a 15 minute walk. Taisa gave us many great suggestions of outdoor activities to do in the area including places to kayak and hike. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the New Denver Lodge and will be back Next year. Thank you, Taisa and Evan!

In these days of instant gratification it might seem a bit much to take on a drive of several hours from the nearest large town (Revelstoke), itself a couple of hours from anywhere else, but visiting the New Denver area is well worth it, and with a place like the New Denver Lodge to stay

We had the MOST wonderful work retreat weekend. The space is perfect for a group with many cozy areas with room for everyone. It's clean and peaceful. Taisa, our fantastic host, makes really great scrambled eggs!

What a great place to stay! Very cozy accommodations in a well kept lodge. Taisa and Evan were excellent hosts who went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Everything from the pool to the large family room were clean and inviting. The included continental breakfast was well thought out and the food was good. The room was comfortable with a nice view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The view was amazing, and if you like to explore, there's a lot to see in the surrounding area. i would highly recommend staying here.

The lodge provided the perfect location for our wedding with our families. Taisa and Evan made sure we had everything we needed and were very responsive during our stay. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a getaway in the picturesque Slocan Lake valley with family or friends.
