Three of us had visited and spent 2 nights. It was a lovely experience and in a remote part of India to create and run a resort like this is unthinkable. The staff was excellent and you could literally demand anything in food. Unfortunately due to cloudy weather we couldn't get the stunning views. The bathrooms were very clean with new towels. You could go around for small walks. Phone connectivity was good, WiFi was excellent. When we were leaving they even gave us packed Sandwiches for the journey. Roads are excellent and fuel is available all ***** the route. Strongly recommended for everyone to come at least once in their lifetime. Got to know that now there are direct flights between Delhi and Pithoragarh, which is only 5 hours away!!! And of course there is a helicopter service to Haldwani also!!!

Beyond Expectation !! Hidden gem in the entire Kumaon Belt. Tastefully done place and warm and hospitable people who ensured that our stay was both pleasant and comfortable. Special mention to the beautiful host Ritu who is mature enough to understand and go out of her way to make the stay special and memorable !!

I had a booking with this property for two days. Before we could travel there, my husband got a high fever of 102 and we requested to extend the checkin date by a day to which they agreed very reluctantly. To our misfortune, my husband’s fever increased to 104 and he got tested positive for dengue due to which making the trip to the property difficult for us. This is where our horror story starts with the hotel, a certain Ms. Ritu who is the acting manager. She was not only unempathetic, but also an extremely rude woman. Despite sharing our medical records with her to prove the genuineness of the case, she maintained her aggressive tone and informed us that the hotel owner lives in London and does not allow even medical emergencies with documentation for refunds. Not just that, after initially promising a refund of 50%, she completely backtracked on her word later citing lies. We had heard about the genuine pahadi culture and while this has been always true in all our travels across the country, this particular lady is an unfortunate exception to it. We hope the 16000 that you kept of ours despite a genuine medical emergency like Dengue is enough to fill your greedy pockets and justify all the lies and excuses you made in our case. My recommendation is to stay away from “businesses” like these that lack basic human sympathy and are a black mark on the hospitality industry.

I had wonderful time staying at Himalayan Glamping. Little away from main town, amidst lush green environ, with sound of gushing water and melodious symphony of birds, one could never get enough. If you are lucky enough excellent view of Panachachuli range will mesmerize you all through the day, right out of your tent. And you cannot ask for more comfortable stay, homey and courteous staff with excellent food, specially Prem and Akshay. You should not miss talking to owner Rita, you will be surprised with sweetness she carries. Not to miss cute Moti, who kept my son company throughout.

It was an excellent experience, a perfect blend of nature and luxury. Despite being 12 hours away from Haldwani, they are providing excellent services. The food makes it feel like home, the hosts are amazing (especially Prem ji). Must stay!

We are close friends who love to travel routine and offbeat locations in Himalayas. One of our friend suggested the place named Himalayan Glamping. In all senses it fulfilled the meaning of Glamping a upgraded camping with modern facilities. What we liked was location, food and overall hospitality. Be ready for few hitches like loss of power supply unpredictable weather etc. overall we will recommend this as a must in itinerary if one thing of travelling to Himalayas. We faced pre monsoon heavy showers which spoiled our chance to see Panchachuli peaks. Special thanks to all staff and Ms Ritu for making our stay comfortable and memorable.

It’s such a beautiful place to visit. The site’s secluded and peaceful, with close proximity to all the major destinations in Munsyari. I loved the service, the staff made sure we were comfortable and were very responsive to all our requests. The rooms are gorgeous, and surrounded by gorgeous flora and fauna. I would recommend this place to everyone who loves nature and adventure.
