I proceded to write a review, I was about 600+ characters in and ******* promoted me to prove that I was a human by completing a puzzle. I assumed it would have taked me back to my review, but it completely cleared it instead. Basically the staff was fantastic (above, beyond, profressional. From front desk to servers and all in between), the appearance of the hotel was quaint, historic feeling, eerie...which I wanted, and very close and convenient to everything. However, the room description "mountain view" was anything but that. The bathroom was not cleaned well prior to me checking in, and the price of the rooms for the weekend I had reserved had a dramatic decrease shortly after I checked in, which was frustrating. The bed was the most uncomfortable of all hotels beds I have ever slept on, and I guess I missed the memo of no TV. I also had maintenance pretty much outside of my window at a very early hour on my first morning there. I would recommend this hotel to someone who just needs a place to crash with no expectations. I did enjoy the live music, and although my mountain view room was anything but, literally a tree fully blocking the window, when I drove down towards the exit, parked my car, and walked a bit on the lawn, I caught a stunning sunset. The breakfast was simple, refreshing if you will for someone who is very conscious on how they start their day food wise, I did not indulge in any of it, but there are really nice cafe & bakery options all close by.

I have been coming here for several years and love the quiet, the trails, the view and history that surrounds the quaint Inn.

Lovely fall stay at the Apple Tree

Beautiful Inn with views over the gorgeous grounds Staff are absolutely lovely and accommodating. Cozy Ostrich room for a drink before dinner. Fireplaces burning on the chilly morning and in the evenings. Location is close to the Town of Lenox and to many local activities and sites. I look forward to coming back!

Beautiful property in great location. Yummy tea and coffee available throughout stay. Front desk staff so helpful. Live music in the tavern. Waiter helped me with my gluten allergy. Hope to come again!

A beautiful property in a stunning location. We opted for the cheapest room so I wasn't expecting much, but it was delightful, clean and very comfy. The property itself is home to a really fun bar, which often hosts local bands. It was a real treat to arrive to hear a live band! The breakfast room overlooks the hills - it's the most beautiful setting for dining I've ever come across. And the breakfast is delicious. Staff are friendly and available if required, but leave you alone to enjoy peace and quiet unless you need them. I hope we return one day!

Lovely staff and cozy ambience. Our room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was all homemade and delicious! Enjoyed the fireplaces and musicians in the pub at night. Beautiful setting with the front porches, and lots of places to unwind.
