Staying at the Pokhara Youth Hostel made our stay in Pokhara a unforgettable one. As a family with two young kids we (and the kids) had a great time. Next to the good facilities - The family that runs the hostel are an example of an open and kind nepali family. Especially the way everybody was thinking along and helped us planning and managing our stay and activities was helpful. But also just chilling out and sharing about all things that are interesting. Starting the Holi festival with the staff and guest was the best way to start this beautiful experience. And really made it better than good for us and the kids. Thanks to all of the staff and family of the Pokhara Youth Hostel. I highly recommend!

Not the best hostel I have stayed in but you get what you pay for. Very good location, quiet and friendly. Highly recommend for budget travellers. I’d say the place is clean but doesn’t really look it. If you have been hiking in the mountains and stayed in the tea houses then this hostel won’t really bother you.

It might be the most cheap place in Pokhara, and at the same same also a very Place! The owner is a cool guy. He was happy to help us out with planing our hike trip to Annapurna Base Camp and we are very thankful for all the informations we got from him ☺️

I stayed at the Pokhara Youth Hostel for a week or so . It was absolutely fantastic. The owner Narayan and manager Chiron were warm, welcoming and efficient. Susma, and Bilboa kept the rooms and establishment clean and were so lovely . Their very clever kid Ayush would be busying himself when not at school. Neisel and Sundaze did their jobs too. It felt like family there and I loved the laid back atmosphere. Breakfast of eggs and toast.. very tasty cooked by Susma. Comfortable room, bed and clean bathroom with the best shower that I had in Nepal. Great views of the lake ; great rates per night; Met lots of interesting travellers and basically never wanted to leave . Absolutely central to all of the action in Pokhara . I recommend this place to anyone! I could live there quite happily, but unfortunately had to return to Australia . I will definitely be back there as soon as I can and know that I will be welcomed with warm friendliness and open arms . All of the usual wifi available . Thanks again Liz M
