We went there as a part of a a suggested tour. We visited the Akamasoa village which was incredible. However,our experience at the hostel's restaurant was awful. First,they were hesitant to receive us,perhaps because the hostel was deserted with no other guests spotted,we felt as intruders. Then, they do not have an A la Carte menu,rather a daily menu that seems to be created from leftovers. The choice was very limited as if they did not wish to indulge us. The waiting for the dishes to be served was unbearable,one hour for one dish even though we were the only guests in the whole restaurant. As it was a disappointing experience, we asked to speak with the manager and were shocked when they said there was no manager at all. So that explains the poor quality service we experienced.
