We stayed 1 night over a 2 day explore of the Munnar area. So this has to be a consideration when visiting the area ….. the hotel you choose needs to support your direction of travel and the things you want to see. I say this because all of the hotels dotted around the Munnar area all seem in pretty ok locations but it isn’t until you get there that you understand what the different locations mean to your travels. This said …. this location was beautiful., a bit off the beaten track, but I think this is clear. The rooms were fine …. nice from a look perspective but maybe some practical things not considered very well. Breakfast was ok ….. I guess it depends on your benchmark of what you want and what you pay for your stay. All in all I feel that this hotel is an ok option.

This hotel is an absolute nightmare for any travelers. I was not given the room I originally booked, and getting to the so-called alternative room felt like a literal hike. The layout is completely unreasonable. Without a car, you are basically stranded. Walking is impractical, public transportation is useless, and the hotel offers no consideration for guests without vehicles. The breakfast was shockingly bad. Calling it “basic” would be generous — the quality and selection were worse than the cheapest budget 2-star hotels. It felt careless and embarrassing. Overall, this hotel is poorly managed, misleading, and severely overpriced for what it offers. The lack of honesty, accessibility, and basic service makes this place not just disappointing, but unacceptable. I strongly warn others to stay away unless you enjoy inconvenience and frustration.

· Absolutely incredible staff - they couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The food was also exceptional - would highly recommend. And the room itself was stunning. The location was quite far from Munnar itself, but this is perhaps to be expected when you're staying in a mountain resort. The only other issue was being chased up following the trip to review them positively on more sites. Having already done it on two when we checked out, it felt a bit much to be getting Whatsapp messages asking for further reviews. Understand that such reviews are important to the business, but it did slightly negatively impact what had been an otherwise very positive experience, to be getting further Whatsapp messages days after.

Staffs are helpful and meeting their hospitality standards,, front desk people really great with their smile and warm welcome , very good over all
Room cleanliness was awesome and view is is wonderful

Amazing resort. Luxurious stay. Had amazing experience.Staff was very helpful. Almost lies in hill shadows. Rooms are very good. Rooftop restaurant has an amazing view.

We are really happy with our stay at Vinceroy resort! It was a great breakfast buffet that offers nice Indian and western alternatives. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely like to come back for another visit in the future.
