Lovely setting very well presented close to Main Street. They’ve done a great job.
I was in room 2 & it was very spacious & comfortable. However, Room 2 is on ground level and you need to have the Blinds shut all the time with everybody walking past.
Also, I could hear noise coming from the people above through the ceiling/floor & as well, I could hear the people from the room next door snoring & talking in the night time.
The Smeg fridge wasn’t very cold & I couldn’t find anywhere to turn a dial to make it colder.
I stayed 3 nights & put the tidy my room sign out twice and only had my room attended to once after the first night. Perhaps your cleaner should knock before entering just to be sure - that’s usually what happens.

We like to leave our guests be so generally, so we have the “make my room up” signs which need to be put by check out time (10:30am) should you require service. The girls are usually pretty good do not sure what happened there. I will remind the staff of the importance of servicing rooms in case they have forgotten. We aim to service any room that requires it as part of our service. Our more premium rooms are part of the original house with 40cm thick walls. Might be an idea to try those next time. The rooms and floor are all soundproofed to modern requirements but loud neighbours are loud neighbours I suppose. Snoring is particularly annoying to me too. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. Lovely stay in beautiful room with heaps of space. Very inviting with nice furnishings and tastefully decorated. Exceptionally clean and nice products available to use.

The old world charm was what drew us to the property. Wonderful big room with view of green rolling hills through bay windows. Wonderful stay for my birthday weekend celebrations

beautiful grounds and old world charm with modern amenities. Only fault was the coffe cups supplied in the room were stained.

Great weekend getaway stay, lovely renovated historic building, a few maintenance issues but good otherwise, bathroom becomes a full wet area due to design and ventilation, needed to crank heating to keep warm.
