The absolute perfect stay in Hattiesburg, MS! We were fortunate enough to spend a couple of nights during the Christmas Season at the mansion and everything was perfection! The owners are extremely warm and welcoming. The home is gorgeous, very well maintained, and so cozy! We stayed in the Peacock Room and everything was immaculate, we couldn't have asked for a better stay or experience!

Wow. What an amazing experience. This wasn’t just a stay it was a whole memorable experience! The house itself is absolutely stunning but the way Mrs. Jenny has brought the history back to life can’t be beat. I felt like an inspired child exploring all the rooms and pieces she has so beautifully restored or decorated. She had endless stories and happily answered all our questions and more. It felt like a cozy family stay in a hallmark movie! I could go on and on really, we are locals and stayed here for our engagement and I am just so overjoyed to have been able to experience such a gem. Our morning breakfast made me feel like I had a real life tea party that I always dreamed of as a girl. The details were impeccable and I haven’t stopped talking about our amazing time and how great the house and Mr. Jerry and Mrs Jenny and their beautiful daughter Ivy. This is a stay I will never forget.

Just magical! The mansion is absolutely beautiful and meticulously kept. Jenny and Gerry and Ivy were so welcoming and fun to spend time with; so mindful of the guests and anticipating their every need. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable experience! We hope to come back for a performance in the theatre. Can’t wait!

Located in the heart of Historic District of Hattiesburg snd and a 5 minute walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. Ross Mansion transported us back in time as we were warmly welcomed by our host Jenny and Gerry. Everything has been so carefully chosen to the time of the original home. The beauty of every room with so many little details to each theme. The first night we didn’t fairy garden that is on display for this month, wonderful family event for the community. Each morning was a wonderful time in the dining room with the other guest as we all enjoyed a delicious big breakfast. It was all so luxurious served of the fine china and crystal. Jenny was even in the garden early morning cutting the fresh mint and edible flowers to make each plate a beautiful display. If you are in Hattiesburg you owe it to yourself to stay at Ross Mansion. It’s truly a relaxing luxurious experience you will never forget. We are already looking at another visit, next time when we can see the show in the Carriage house. The options are many so go see for yourself.

We had a lovely stay at the Ross Mansion. The beautiful old section of Hattiesburg is within walking distance which is convenient. The home and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Staying in the “library room” was fun for this book lover and librarian. The owners are friendly and attentive and shared information about nearby dining and activities. The breakfast served was outstanding. We will return!

This gorgeous Mansion is one of the most special and lovely places I have ever stayed. The decorations and the ambience are impeccable as well as the service. I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to the Hattiesburg area as a go to place to stay for a wonderful experience.

I cannot say enough about the attention to detail on every single decoration and amenity in this property the host were so talented and accommodating in every way and we enjoy staying here so much. I would recommend it for anything else here in this area for a wonderful experience

What a charming B&B! The home was immaculate. I couldn't decide whether I felt like we were in a museum, a high-end antique store, or a life size doll house (or some happy combination of the three). The rooms were spacious, well and appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was hearty but also elegant and delicious. Our hosts were welcoming and happy to share their knowledge of the area's history and highlights. We will definitely be back soon!
