And get this — the building is a beautifully refurbished old post office, and Paolo kept some of the original artifacts and design touches, which give the place a cool, familiar charm in a luxurious setting. It’s like sleeping in history, but with top-shelf comfort and espresso on demand. Speaking of espresso… let me talk about the coffee machine in the guest kitchen. I’m not saying I became a professional barista overnight, but I did start naming my cappuccinos. Espresso? Boom. Latte? Boom boom. Even my wife was impressed. “You sure you didn’t go to barista school behind my back?” Now, let’s get into the towels. I’m a big guy.
