The first room they gave us smelled strongly of mold and the second room they gave us had bugs on the bedding and in the bathroom floor.

There's no one out front when you need something. No staff around until you stand at the front counter for a while. Very poor service. Room is clean. I wouldn't stay here again.

Parking garage elevator on wrong side of the building and no way to get into parking garage from hotel with our getting wet. Need a BIg Long overhang

Very nice
The Fairfield Inn&Suites in Decatur is top notch. It appears fairly new, staff is friendly and helpful. The place is spotless and the beds very comfortable. The area around the hotel is very nice with plenty of restaurant choices just across the street. Shopping is pretty nice with some excellent shops. I was pleasantly surprised and would stay here again while visiting family in the area.

On the road again
Traveling South to get out of the cold again. We stop when we get tired and last night lead us to Decatur. We picked the Fairfield inn and am very happy with our stay. Everyone was so nice and the town is wonderful.
