We stayed at Jayanti Mother Nature Homestay in Munsiyari for 2 days. Initially, everything seemed fine — the rooms were clean and the owner behaved well when we arrived, even though our booking was at the last minute. The food on the first day was okay too. However, our entire experience turned into a nightmare when ₹17,000 cash was stolen from our bag while we were having dinner at their restaurant. When we realized it later that night and immediately called the owner, he completely denied it and said there were no CCTV cameras near the rooms. The next morning, instead of helping us, both he and his mother blamed us — saying we must have counted the money wrong and even misbehaved with us. This was an extremely unpleasant and disappointing experience. I would strongly warn anyone planning to stay here — do not leave your money or valuables in the room when you step out. They will deny everything and put the blame on you. Truly a pathetic and untrustworthy experience.

Very clean homestay with all modern facilities. Owner Mr Gautam personally taking care of guests. All other staffs are humble and happy to do the duty. They make bonfires in evening. Reasonable tarrif. View of Mountain from room is excellent. Bird watchers will find good time in morning during sunrise.
