We spent wonderful 3 nights/4 days at Taj Guras during 20-23rd February, 2026. It was an awesome experience of care, warmth, comfort and luxury added to the incredible scenic beauty of the property and its surroundings. The hotel staff also walked the extra mile in celebrating our wedding anniversary in. style on the 21st! We would like to specifically mention the personal care and attention provided by Mr. Sarkar, Anusha, Smriti, Aruna (all Front Desk), Dipankar Adhikary, Kalyan Bar (Chef), Arya, Saurabh, Anamika and Vidya, who made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Apart from them there were many others, whom we are unable to name individually but appreciate their contribution. Our sincere thanks to all the staff of Taj Guras!

We stayed at Taj Guras Gangtok for two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The hospitality was outstanding at every level from the General Manager to the buffet staff, everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It wouldn’t be fair to name just one person because the entire team made our stay special. What touched us most was the attention to detail surprise anniversary cakes at dinner and in our room, ***** with beautiful room decoration. These thoughtful gestures made our celebration unforgettable. A perfect stay in every way. Highly recommended!

We spent two nights at Taj Guras Kutir for my birthday in early February and had an amazing experience. Upon arrival, they surprised us with beautiful room decorations and a delicious chocolate mousse cake. The hospitality is truly next level. Our stay included all three meals via a-la-carte service rather than a buffet, and the food was excellent. The Hi-Tea is mind-blowing; when we asked to sit on an unequipped open-air deck despite the February chill, the staff immediately set up a table and chairs to fulfill our request. We also loved the exclusive "Mid-Way" refreshment area—a cute, cosy spot for tea and snacks. Whatever you need, the team here makes it happen. Highly recommended!

Excellent. The room was very clean and well maintained. The housekeeping team led by Mr. Jay Prakash did their job with utmost dedication and provided good service.

We stayed at Taj Guras Kutir for 4 nights, and it was just peaceful and so well managed. The staff is extremely courteous, special mention to Dipankar from Soi and Sake, Aruna from the travel desk, and Umakanth from Starscapes. Even other staff, the head chef, and the lady with glasses (forgot her name) in Machan were lovely. Arrival and departure were good, and thanks for the courtesy call to check if we reached home. The food was great and the midpoint was extremely well thought out.

I had gone for a valentine normal date and the service as always being a brand taj is always great and the two gentlemen who assisted us Mr Bhavesh and Mr Akshay from Machan restaurant at Taj Gurans Kutir, Gangtok. They were very polite and very much helpful and made our moment really special and also the surprise cake was a lovely touch. Thank you to team Taj for the beautiful time.
