We were six adults and three dogs and we had a great visit. Lovely place, excellent staff, very good food. We have a few comments/suggestions where we think they can improve. We chose the fixed 4 course dinner with wine pairings. 1). Although notified that one of us was a vegetarian, they seemingly assumed she ate fish. This should never have happened. We chose not to make an issue of it and she unhappily ate the fish. 2) Is it really necessary to have to pay for additional bread. I know there is a cost involved, but seriously. This was especially felt as the two first courses cried out for bread to dip into the delicious sauces. Or at least a spoon would have been helpful. Yes, we could have asked for one. 3) The wines were excellent, however neither of the 2 whites were properly chilled and we all felt the pour was on the cheap side. Despite the above minority complaints, we loved the place and hope to return and can genuinely recommend it..

We spent the midsummer at House Of Ven. A big disappointment when we compare to other places were we have been earlier years, paying a similar price. The midsummer dinner did not live up to expectations at all. First we had to wait 30 minutes before we went and asked the waiter, who had forgotten about our table. Then it took another 20 minutes to get the first dish with herring, salmon, etc. But we did not get any bread. After reminding the waitress 3 times we got it in time for the next dish - that did not require any bread. She threw it on the table saying "Here is the bread since it seems to be so important". The food as such was ok but no more. Also the breakfast was rather poor. No orange juice, no egg and bacon, no pancakes, only dark bread, no croissants, etc. The room was just about ok. Nowhere to sit except on the bed. Poor ventilation. Don't understand why it should be described as charming. We will definitely not visit again.

Nice ambient with subtle music in the background, delicious local food, great variety of drinks and on top of that, the person who made all the difference was our host Randall; amazing service, directions and tips for experiencing Ven and Skane region in general, polite but genuine conversation during our visit - the best hospitality one can provide - 10/10!

We had a conference with the company, and me and my team from Hong Kong enjoyed this place a lot. The personnel is friendly, helpful and does their job with heart. I also like their inclusive staffing. Keep it up. The rooms were good and comfortable. Sure a bit dated, as the building but nevertheless good. Thank you!

Our daughter and son in law decided to have their wedding on Ven and House of Ven was the natural place to do it. Everything turned our perfect with House of Ven playing an extremely important role in the success. This is not a luxury hotel but a simple country guest house with great food and a wonderful service attitude. It is of course special to have a wedding on a small island lying between two countries, Sweden and Denmark and essentially every one of the 100 people who were part of the event said it was a uniquely enjoyable and special experience. Highly recommended for a special event or just a weekend visit to Ven.

Such a wonderful location, calm and quiet and a great restaurant as well! Never been to Ven before, but we'll definitely be back soon. The building is old, but well maintained, the rooms were lovely. The evening's got a special type of lighting which is out of this world!
烹饪完美的当地美食被端上餐桌。服务人员细心周到。饮料的选择很好。另一颗“欢迎狗”的明星。感谢您的愉快住宿。徒步旅行后用餐是一次美食体验。
